There is an old saying that catches win matches in Cricket. However, Indo-Bulgarian were sloppy on the field tonight, dropping more than 10 catches, and still ended up on the winning side in this edge-of-the-seat thriller. The partnership between the experienced Seelaar and de Kok put the team in the driver's seat and they were cruising along nicely at one point. With below-par fielding effort and ordinary catching, the odds were stacked against Indo-Bulgarian but they picked up Seelaar's wicket at a crucial time and the momentum suddenly swung in favour of them.

Even though de Kok was dropped many times, his presence at the crease made Rotterdam believe that they can cross the finish line. However, Batten bowled an excellent penultimate over to make it hard for them before Mishra kept his cool and defended 20 runs off the final over. It's a heartbreaking defeat for Rotterdam and it's unfortunate they have ended up on the wrong side of the result, while Indo-Bulgarian got lucky in the end after being so dismal on the field. Those extra 10-15 runs they got with the bat saved them in the end
