Match summary
Jersey beat Croatia by 105 runs.
Charles Perchard 48 (17) | Charlie Brennan 1/2 (2) Jai Thakur 20 (30) | Naseem Khan 1/17 (1)
Jersey gave Croatia the taste of their own medicine as the batters also had a hard time getting the big hits in the first few overs. Jersey were putting all the pressure on them and there was not a sight of any aggression from the batters. They were playing very defensively and the struggling side on the points table ended up doing the same out there in the middle as Jersey took a handful of wickets and there was no sign of the big runs as the yawns were coming instead of the sixes.
The batters were playing the test match style defense shots. The last over goof ups and miscommunications were leading the batters back into the dug out and there was nothing much to say as the batters lost a ton of wickets and lost by ton of runs with absoloutely no fight. Croatia will look to comeback stronger in the next year's contest while Jersey sit on the top of the table even more comfortably.
