Jinnah Brescia win the match by 50 runs
A comprehensive win for the defending champions as they not only win by a big margin but have also defended their title successfully. Jinnah Brescia was "the" team of the tournament as they crossed every hurdle with ease and now lay their hands over that shiny silverware.
The first ball they bowled was disastrous as they were hit for a six off a no-ball. From then on, everything went their way as they picked up two wickets in the very first over. Wickets fell in clusters as none of the batters was able to go on and convert their starts and threw their wickets away looking to play the big strokes. Malkeet Singh was their most successful batter as he scored 9 runs off the 10 deliveries he faced whilst his side capitulated to 39 all out in 9.4 overs.
Six bowlers were used and all six of them picked up wickets whenever called upon. Muhammad Imran picked up a couple in his very first over as he sent back their opener and their number three. Faheem Nazir then picked up a couple of wickets post the powerplay and then it was Hasan Ali and Faisal Shabbir who picked up 2 wickets each. Rukhsar Ahmed picked up a wicket in the 9th over and then it was Janaka Wass with the final wicket to seal the deal for his side.

9.4 Janaka Wass to Jaipal Singh, OUT! BOWLED! AND THAT WILL DO IT! JINNAH BRESCIA DEFEND THEIR TITLE! A perfect game for them in the finals and they have delivered when it has mattered the most! An absolutely terrific exhibition of bowling from Jinnah Brescia that seals the deal. A length ball on the off stump line, was a leg-cutter this time around and Jaipal failed to read the variation. Swung across the line of the ball once again but was undone by the lack of pace on that. The ball went onto crash into the middle stump and the celebrations have begun!
9.3 Janaka Wass to Jaipal Singh, slower full ball outside off floated in, no foot movement from Jaipal as he swings for the fences but to no avail.
9.3 Janaka Wass to Jaipal Singh, WIDE! Short of a length ball outside off, past the tramline and that will be a wide.
9.2 Janaka Wass to Jaipal Singh, length ball outside off swinging away, another swing from Jaipal finds no connection.
9.1 Janaka Wass to Jaipal Singh, short of a length ball outside off swinging away, Jaipal goes for the big heave across the line but misses.
All over for Kings XI as they have lost their 9th wicket and will end up as runners-up of this edition of ECS Brescia. Congratulations to Jinnah Brescia who have successfully defended their title and will be going to Rome for the ECS Italy Super Series

8.4 Rukhsar Ahmed to Jaipal Singh, WIDE! Length ball outside off, seams away and finishes past the tramline. Some more exercise for the umpire.
8.4 Rukhsar Ahmed to Noman Ali, WIDE! Full ball sliding down the leg side. The keeper fails to collect that cleanly and deflects it into the leg side as the batters run a single.
Noman Ali, RHB, is the last man for Kings XI and will be on strike to face the first ball of his innings
8.3 Rukhsar Ahmed to Muhammad Shafique, OUT! CAUGHT! Kings XI down to their last batter now and Jinnah Brescia are well on track to win this one! Back of a length and on the off stump swinging away, Shafique throws the kitchen sink at it and sends that high into the sky. The extra cover fielder has some work to do and he runs around and ends up pouching it in the end!
8.3 Rukhsar Ahmed to Muhammad Shafique, WIDE! Overcorrects as he bowls one on the body, Shafique shuffles across and lets that pass through to the keeper. The umpire has another stretch.
