A clinical defense by the Jinnah Brescia bowling unit after their batters, led by Sharukh Nawaz, piled up a massive score on the board. Mind you, a 20-run opening over sent down by Hasan Ali pointed towards a thrilling chase and while Roma CC couldn't quite sustain that belligerence right through the Powerplay, they came out of it with a solid foundation.

But then, it was the Rukhsar Ahmed show all the way. Three wickets in four deliveries and each of those resulting in a catch for Ghulam Farid meant that the wheels had well and truly come off the Roma CC chase. Dinidu Marage was still around even as he watched his colleagues make a quick entry and exit but once he was dismissed, the game was all but over.

Rukhsar couldn't do a thing wrong as he picked up a five-wicket haul, shutting the door on any hopes of a Roma CC fightback. The flurry of wickets meant that the asking rate shot up to insurmountable proportions, paving the way for a clinical victory for Jinnah Brescia.

It was just the kind of result that they'd have been after, given how the first leg went horribly wrong earlier today. Both teams have now shared the spoils but it's Jinnah Brescia who consolidate their position atop the points table with 12 points against their name.

A comfortable victory by every means for Jinnah Brescia. They've hardly broken a sweat and have pulled it back to draw level for the day against Roma CC.
