That's it from here, hope you enjoyed the coverage. If you are hungry for more cricketing action, head to the high-octane run chase that's coming up in the India vs Pakistan clash here. Until next time, this is Pragadeesh and Pradeep signing off
Karan Sharma [Kanpur Superstars]: We needed this win at this juncture, team showing the fighting ability and the other games also we fought well except for the one's we lost. I thought I needed to take the charge, wanted to make the powerplay count, nothing much.
Shiva Singh is the Player of the Match! Here's what he has to say: In first inning, the ball was skidding a lot and we wanted to target the stumps, it was stopping on the batter a bit and if we could restrict them in powerplay, we knew we could go on to win it. Both the batters were in brilliant form, we need to strike early, we were short of 15 runs, but our fielding and bowling turned up.
What a match. It had everyone on the edge of their seats until the final ball. The Superstars had things under control and was the clear favourite to chase 10 runs in the final over but Sharim stuck to his guns, kept his composure to help the team to cross the finish line.
The start wasn't perfect for the Superstars as Dubey departed for a golden duck but the partnership between Rahul and Rizvi didn't allow the team to slip further. Rahul was sensible at the beginning as he took him to settle in on the tough wicket but Shiv Singh came up with a double strike to pull things back in favor of his team.
The spinners were hard to deal with once the field got spread but Rahul kept the Superstars in the contest by scoring boundaries and sixes at regular intervals. He scored a fighting half-century but got out at a crucial time. With Prashant's cameo, still, the Superstars had things under control but Sharim bowled an exceptional final over to make sure that they finished on the wrong side of the result

19.6 Mohammad Sharim to Jasmer Dhankar, THAT IS IT! Kashi Rudras have pulled of a remarkable win here, they have come out from nowhere and have defended that total, brilliant! Yorker length outside the off-stump, Dhankar can't connect as he reaches for it and drilled it to extra-cover for just one.
A boundary would take us to the super over
19.5 Mohammad Sharim to Jasmer Dhankar, length delivery outside the off-stump, Dhankar skips down the track and smacked it through extra-cover and the fielder does well to keep them for just two with a slide around the ropes.
19.4 Mohammad Sharim to Jasmer Dhankar, OH DEAR! Can't believe Kanpur have made a mess of this run chase, unless Dhankar hit the next one for a big one. Full and shapes away wide of off-stump, Dhankar throws his hands at it and misses.
Jasmer Dhankar, RHB, walks in at no.9
Are Kanpur Superstars going to fluff this run chase?
19.3 Mohammad Sharim to Vineet Panwar, OUT! ANOTHER ONE MILES INTO THE AIR AND TAKEN AGAIN! Kanpur are falling apart here, this has been brilliant from Sharim. Pace off, Panwar doesn't pick it as he was too early into the shot and skied it and long-on settles under it to complete a simple catch.
Vineet Panwar c Shiv Singh b Mohammad Sharim 0 (1b, 0*4, 0*6)
19.3 Mohammad Sharim to Vineet Panwar, WIDE! Yorker length, but doesn't keep that one inside the tramline and has been called a wide.
Vineet Panwar, RHB, walks in at no.8
Sharim has a last laugh. Prashant was shaping himself for a fuller delivery but he dragged the length back and it turned out to be a well-directed bouncer
19.2 Mohammad Sharim to Prashant Choudhary, OUT! MILES UP INTO THE NIGHT SKY AND TAKEN! It's a dot ball more than anything, short into the batter. Prashant looks to pull but top edged it straight up. Sharim runs back and pouches it himself.
Prashant Chaudhary c&b Mohammad Sharim 24 (15b, 2*4, 1*6)
19.1 Mohammad Sharim to Prashant Choudhary, OH DEAR! That just falls short of deep covers, fielder runs in but doesn't go for the catch as they come back for the brace. Back of a length outside the off-stump, Prashant slashes it over covers, that was in the air for a while.
Atal Bihari has made things interesting by bowling a tight penultimate over. He is having a chat with Sharim now, who is going to bowl the decisive over of the match

18.6 Atal Bihari Rai to Vishal Pandey, OH! Walks long way across off-stump, Pandey looks to hoick but misses, thuds on the pad, but more importantly it's a dot ball!
18.5 Atal Bihari Rai to Prashant Choudhary, back of a length outside the off-stump, Prashant bunted it into the off-side, takes another single.
18.4 Atal Bihari Rai to Vishal Pandey, dips a full delivery on the off-stump, pace taken off again. Pandey whacked it down to long-on for a single.
