Things proved to be far too easy for Asian Latina Cricket Club today, as their bowler wrap up a thumping victory over Kent Lanka CC! Onkar Singh plucked a few wickets towards the end, thanks to all the pressure created by the rest of his teammates early on. The loss of Nicolo Fernando early on proved to be far too costly for the Kent Lanka side, none of their batters were able to take the lead on the run-chase, and it fell apart.

The ASL bowlers maintained a tight line and length through most of the 10 overs, and barring a shoddy performance from Jashanpreet Singh with the gloves, they were more than decent on the field today, latching on to most chances. Danushka Tikiriyadura and Tahir Khan tried their level best to provide some impetus over the course of the middle-overs - they even had an over with seven balls in it, but just weren't able to find the acceleration needed.

Hashmat Dhindsa and Khan Saleem stood out with the ball as well, and while the latter wasn't able to get in among the wickets, the duo were instrumental in keeping things tight over the course of the innings. Kent Lanka will need to sort out their middle order woes, time might run out for them soon.
