Kent have been favourites to win these season and they have made the finals as well with a convincing win over Sussex here. They decided to bat first winning the toss, got the runs on the board and then did really well to defend them as well in the end. They got the top batsmen of Sussex early in the powerplay, which was key.
Sussex has struggled when their top order fails to score and it was a similar case today as well. Although, George Garton fought really well with his 41, that came off just 23 deliveries and he did give them some hope. It was too much for him to do in the end though. Fred Klaassen and Matt Milnes were exceptional with the ball, picking four and three wickets each, leading the charge with the ball.
All in all, a great performance from Kent and they truly deserve to be in the final for the way they have played this season. So then, it is going to be Somerset taking on Kent in what is anticipated to be a thrilling final after two brilliant semi-final games on finals day. Who will go all the way through to claim the title this year? Join us back in not too long from now for the final encounter which you do not want to miss! This is Rishab and Karthik taking your leave for the moment. Stay tuned for more!
Luke Wright: Disappointed obviously and Kent played really well. We did not have anyone to get the big score and they finished it off nicely. We felt that we could have chased it down but early wickets made it difficult. The top four top five did not get a big score and that made the difference today. We are trying to be strong in T20 but sadly we are losing our key players. We've got some great talent but with youngsters you have got to be patient. Hopefully we will come back strong next year.
Sam Billings: We are thrilled to win. We've batted well over years and we backed our bowlers to do it in the end. Darren keeps doing it and he is phenomenal and a special cricketer. I think it shows character and experience and it was a high class knock and he has always been consistent ( on Daniel Bell-Drummond) We are ready to go for the finals!
Daniel Bell-Drummond, Man of the Match: Good to get some runs on the finals day. I've been in the hundred previously and used to big crowds. Great to back here and hopefully we can go one more. I'm glad the bowlers carried on today and we've got great variety and hopefully they can continue for the next game.
That is that! Four for Klaassen and Kent are through to the finals! For the first time since 2008 and this has been a comfortable victory for them. Sussex fought hard but they had too much to do in the end!
19.1 Fred Klaassen to Archie Lenham, short delivery, Lenham pulls it to fine-leg where Qais Ahmad takes the catch. Sussex have been bowled out for 147 and Kent wrap up a 21-run victory to qualify for the Final. It is going to be a Kent vs Somerset clash in the end!
Fred Klaassen will bowl the last over!
Milnes and Klaassen have been brilliant for Kent today. Three for Milnes as well as Kent get closer to a place in the finals now. Just a wicket away and with 22 runs more to get, this game is almost as good as over now, unless Sussex pull off something magical!

Crucial boundary for Sussex this. Still hanging around!

18.1 Matt Milnes to Will Beer, slow on a length, Beer turns it to mid-wicket for a single
Matt Milnes back into the attack
It just seems to be getting tougher and tougher for Sussex despite them fighting hard. Too many wickets lost regularly has been the issue for them. Good finish from Klaassen, who now has three wickets. Down to the final two. Exactly 30 needed!
