The Sylhet Strikers solidifying their position at the top of the points table with another resounding win. We will be back with more BPL coverage tomorrow. Keep following Sportskeeda for all the latest sporting action, until the next time it's good bye from me (Arya Seker Chakraborty) and my fellow commentator Srivatsha.
Mushfiqur Rahim | Sylhet Strikers stand-in skipper in place of Mashrafe Mortaza: I thought the boys have been very professional. Hridoy batted brilliantly along with Zakkir. The bowlers also stuck to their basics and it was brilliant. I pray for him (Mortaza on his injury), we have five days off and by then hopefully, he will be back. They are two physios and lots of masseurs. There are a lot of old guys in our team (chuckles). To be honest, I am trying my level best, I am happy that the batters batting ahead of me are scoring runs. I am not getting enough time but hopefully it will come off in the coming games Thanks to the Sylhet crowd and hope we will produce good results in Dhaka and make you proud.
Towhid Hridoy is the Player of the Match: I just tried to play my natural game. I was just trying to execute my plans. I am feeling better, little bit pain in wrists but hopefully I will recover well. We have played well throughout the tournament and hopefully it will continue.
Time for the post-match presentation ceremony with Aamir Sohail.
Yasir Ali | Khulna Tigers skipper: I think we have a balanced team. We are not clicking when needed, I may say its sheer bad luck, no one wants to bat and get put. I think you see we have been starting well. We had 30s and 40s, if the wicket is good and someone gets set he should try and play as many overs as possible. It's the team combination thing (on him not batting higher up the order), if I go No 6 our batting depth goes big. The thing we are losing wickets in successive overs and that's the reason why we haven't managed to win more matches.
Sylhet Strikers win by 31 runs
Sylhet Strikers 192/4 in 20 overs Towhid Hridoy 74(49) | Mark Deyal 2/40
Chasing 193, if the top-score from a couple of batter is 33 and not much after that, then you are bound to lose, that's what happened with Khulna.
Tamim started with a bang but Rubel Hossain with two wickets in his first over derailed things. After that Shai Hope and Azam Khan both threatened but just when they were looking dangerous, their innings was cut short.
Once Azam went, the game was as good as done and despite Sylhet not having Mortaza who went off with a knee issue, they had too much in the bank to allow the game to slip.
Rubel starred with a four-fer and the others chipped in.
Sylhet sit comfortably at the top while Khulna are struggling with just 4 points after 8 games. Today's loss was their third in a row as well.
Stay tuned for the post-match presentation...

19.6 Thisara Perera to Nasum Ahmed, FOUR! Four byes given but it looked like an edge. It doesn't matter as Sylhet Strikers comfortably win by 31 runs.
19.5 Thisara Perera to Nasum Ahmed, that's a low full toss angling across Nasum, he swings across the line but doesn't make any contact, might have been a faint edge through to the keeper.
19.4 Thisara Perera to Nahid Rana, back of a length delivery around middle, Rana slices that away from the outside half of the bat down towards the deep point region, takes a single.
19.3 Thisara Perera to Nasum Ahmed, that's a good yorker from Thisara, Nasum digs that out down towards the long-on region for a single.
19.2 Thisara Perera to Nasum Ahmed, FOUR! A length delivery around off, Nasum with a mighty swing across the line, gets lucky as the inside edge runs away down the fine leg boundary.
19.1 Thisara Perera to Nasum Ahmed, Perera starts off with a slower delivery, on the surface and a mighty swing across the line from Nasum only to miss it. Just goes over the off-stump.

Mohammad Amir
2/28
18.6 Mohammad Amir to Nasum Ahmed, Amir ends his spell with another brilliant slower delivery. Nasum somehow manages to get that away down towards the long-on region, was completely decieved there.
18.5 Mohammad Amir to Nahid Rana, on a fullish length around middle, inside edge down towards the on side for a single.
Nahid Rana, RHB, comes to the crease
18.4 Mohammad Amir to Nahidul Islam, WICKET! Mohammad Amir is such a class act in these situations, cleans up Nahidul as the 9th one goes down for the Khulna Tigers. They are on the brink of another defeat. Nahidul gives himself way too much room and tries to swing hard, misses it completely the stumps are rattled.
Nahidul Islam b Mohammad Amir 9 (9b 1x4 0x6 )
18.3 Mohammad Amir to Nahidul Islam, again a very well disguised slower delivery, Amir is showing his full repertoire, on the surface and Nahidul was completely foxed there.
18.2 Mohammad Amir to Nasum Ahmed, on a fullish-length around middle, Nasum clears his front leg and swings it away down towards the long-on region for a single.
18.1 Mohammad Amir to Nahidul Islam, a quick back of a length delivery, a mistimed heave and gets it away towards the off side for a single.
