A successful fightback from the Titans ensure that they clinch a close-fought battle! As it turned out, batting wasn't the easiest on this deck. But from the manner in which they batted, you'd get the feeling that the Kings botched up what could have been a measured, calculated and successful run-chase. The running between the wickets lacked aggression, they lacked application in terms of shot selection, and left a bit too much towards the end.

Aravind Akash RS started off in good fashion, clobbering his first delivery out of the ground. But his stay in the middle was short lived - Yogesh Kaushik came back well in the over and got him out with a short one that hurried onto Akash. Ganesan struggled to buy a run in seven deliveries, holing out in his eighth. Desh Deepak Chauhan and Vishnu K looked to navigate the chase from then on, While Vishnu was the more aggressive among the two to start with, we saw the boundaries dry up as the middle overs passed by.

Chauhan struggled a lot, chewing 15 deliveries for just 8 before finding Prajapat in the deep. Rajaram S' arrival in the middle saw the flow of runs increase for a brief while, but then, Surendar Baskaran produced a second successive tight over and applied the squeeze on the Kings. Both Rajaram and Vishnu fell in the penultimate over, and the match seemed to slip away from the Kings right then. It was a spirited defence of their total from the Titans, and they emerge deserved winners from this contest.
