As was expected, the batter of Rhein-Ruhr Sports could not quite come to grips with the excellent bowling performance of Koln. The likes of Manav Panwar and Jagandeep Singh along with a decent performance from Akshay Dhani ensured that Koln walked away winners by a very comfortable margin by the end of the game.

Rhein-Ruhr did not quite get off to a good start and suffered accordingly. However, the duo of Anoop Singh and Basir Uddin tried to infuse a sense of fight in them as best as they could. Samir Ahmed played a lone hand till the end.

It was not as easy as they thought it was going to be, given how well the bowlers of Koln were on the day. This win will give Koln a lot of confidence and allow them to take this momentum further into the tournament.

Rhein-Ruhr Sports will be extremely disappointed with this showing of theirs, and will feel that they could have done much better. Their batters will hope to take a lot of responsibility when they walk out to play next.
