That brings us to the end of this fixture. Till the next time, this is myself (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) signing off also on behalf of my fellow commentator and good mate Bala. Goodnight! Cheers!
Muhammad Waseem (UAE captain and Played of the Match): Yeah first of all thanks to god. Team is doing good. To be honest it's by natural game. Pitch is very good me for hopefully I can lead from the front. I think we have to finish the innings better because we didn't finish too well in the last two games.
It's time for the post match presentation ceremony.
UAE beat Kuwait by 31 runs
Muhammad Waseem 74(39) | Ali Naseer 4/28(4) Ravija Sandaruwan 36(24) | Yasin Patel 1/29(4)
Despite a valiant effort from Kuwait, it was the UAE bowlers and their experience which restricted Kuwait to 145/8 in their bid to chase down 177. Ravija Sandaruwan and Aslam Nawfer kept them in the hunt with useful knocks but in the end the target proved to be way too much in the end. UAE continues their dominant run in the competition, winning their 3ed game in as many matches. Ravija got off to a good start but Kuwait lost the wicket of Adnan Idrees in the 2nd over. The introduction of Ali Naseer Ali Naseer put them further on the backfoot as he got a couple of important wickets to peg them back.
They were reduced to 60/4 in the 9th over but Ravija was going great guns when he was joined by Aslam Nawfer. A partnership of 41 runs in quick time did bring them back in the game but the UAE bowlers were always aware of the fact that one wicket and the tides would turn. Both batters struck some boundaries and kept them in the hunt but following the departure of both batters, it was a mountain too steep to climb for Kuwait.
Shiraz Khan and Parwinder Kumar gave some respectability to the score but couldn't quite take them close to the target. Ali Naseer was the pick of the bowlers as he bagged 4 wickets and was the stand out bowler. Kuwait will take heart from this performance but UAE continues to dominate in the competition where they came out as outright favorites. They win by 31 runs while Kuwait loses their 2nd game of the tournament. Smiling faces all around the UAE camp.

What a delivery from Junaid Siddique. An inch perfect yorker and gets his reward on the final delivery of his spell. Nailing the Yorkers and Sayed Monib has to take the long walk back to the pavilion. The end is near for Kuwait.
