La Soufriere Hikers won by 20 runs
La Soufriere Hikers 105/6 in 10 overs
Dillon Douglas 43(17) | Jonathan Carter 21(19) Carlos Brathwaite 2/19(2) | Kevin Abraham 1/10(2)
Fort Charlotte Strikers 85/8 in 10 overs
Gidron Pope 21(16) | Sealroy Williams 16(8) Rayan Williams 3/11(2) | Dillon Douglas 2/15(2)
A comprehensive victory in the end for the Hikers. The target of 106 should have given the Strikers hope of chasing that down but it was an incredible spell of bowling by Rayan Williams who was backed up well by Dillon Douglas as they romp home by 20 runs. Douglas should be the player of the match for his exceptional al-round effort.
It wasn’t a huge target for the Strikers but still, they needed off to get off to a good start to chase it down. Gidron Pope and Salvan Brown came out as the openers and started off in a blistering fashion. A couple of sixes on the first three deliveries of the run-chase laid the early platform but a wicket of the very next ball of Browne neutralised the two early hits.
The Hikers bowlers were right on the money and didn’t really allow the Strikers’ batters to get away, especially in the middle phase of the run chase. Hyron Shallow couldn't quite make an impact and Donwell Hector couldn’t make the much-needed impact either. He scored a 13 ball 14 before his departure.
None of the batters could get the boundaries which were the order of the day. Carlos Brathwaite couldn’t make an impact as Rayan Williams grabbed his wicket for a golden duck. The wickets kept tumbling at regular intervals as the match fizzled out in the last few overs. It began with promise for the Strikers as the Hikers' bowlers were just too good for them.
Sealroy Williams looked dangerous but was dismissed at a crucial juncture of the game. Rayan Williams bowled a fantastic penultimate over which totally turned the match in their favor. Dillon Douglas then finished off proceedings with another successful final over, bagging a couple of wickets.

Dillon Douglas [1-0-8-0] is back into the attack.
What an exceptional spell from Rayan Wiliams. He went for just 11 runs in his 2 overs besides picking 3 wickets including the dangerous Remember the Name Carlos Brathwaite. 28 more needed off the final over and this should be done for the Hikers.

8.6 Rayan Williams to Jerome Jones, WIDE! Slow delivery angling across off-stump, Jones gives himself space and just watches it go the keeper. No signal comes from the umpire
8.5 Rayan Williams to Kevin Abraham, pitched up angling outside off-stump, driven down to extra cover for a single
8.4 Rayan Williams to Kevin Abraham, good length slanting across off, Abraham swings and misses
Kevin Abraham, RHB comes out to the crease.
That could well be the final nail in the coffin for the Strikers. Anything can happen in cricket but it is unlikely they will chase 29 from the last 9 balls.
8.3 Rayan Williams to Sealroy Williams, OUT! Short delivery outside off-stump and Williams miscues his shot as he gets a top edge and the ballons it to short fine leg. The fielder runs sideways to complete the catch.
