So that wraps things up here. We will be back tomorrow for more. Keep following Sportskeeda for more. Till then it's bye bye.
Shaheen Shah Afridi | Lahore captain: The overall credit goes to the batting. Our bowling has depth so we decided to bat first on a green wicket. With the arrival of Sam Billings, the middle-order has gotten strong and the bowling as usual is going well. All the teams are good and we can't take anyone lightly in this tournament. I tried my best and today delivered on a hard length and it worked.
Fakhar Zaman | Player of the Match: We practiced for 3 days here, the discussion all 3 days was not to give wickets in the powerplay then we can score big. And we were successful with our plan. We had a target of 160-170 but the way Abdullah played, lot of credit goes to him and when the ball got old, I too scored runs. As a batter we don't have pressure as our team combination helps and our batting is deep.
Babar Azam | Peshawar Zalmi captain: The way we started, we did well in the first three overs. After that the batters put us under pressure. That's where we lost it after the first six overs. When you go out as a batting unit you try to manage and sustain that run-rate. Our batters did a good job - Saim Ayub has been in really good job. But we have work to do with our bowling. We did concede too many runs. Unless you execute your plans well the batters will keep giving the charge. Back-to-back matches as well and the sooner we correct it, the better for us.
Sikandar Raza | Lahore Qalandars: At no point did I think that we were going to lose this game. They had a good partnership between TKC and Saim but the fact that the run rate was over 10 or 11 and with the likes of Shaheen, Haris and Zaman and the quality of spinners we had, it was a huge ask. This is Abdullah's first game. He didn't start the first game since he was sick. For him to come back and play like this after an illness was great. Just the quality he and the Qalandars possess is incredible. We had to start with some boundaries for the crowd to start (getting into it). Once we got some boundaries we woke them up.
Match result: Lahore Qalandars won by 40 runs
Innings summary: Peshawar 201-9 in 20 overs
Tom Kohler-Cadmore 55 | Saim Ayub 51 | Shaheen Shah 5/40
Lahore were always expected to win after posting 241 and they get the job done.
Waqar Younis on air said that Shaheen told him that he will get five today and the ace pacer lived up to his word as he took a fifer.
Set the tone with a bat-breaker first ball and then a terrific yorker dismissed Haris and then he took care of Babar with another peach to set Peshawar back.
But TKC and Ayub counter-attacked and runs flowed. At the halfway stage, they were on track but a slower ball got TKC and soon Ayub got out. That turned the game.
Once Powell and Rajapaksa went in the same over, the result was a foregone conclusion and Shaheen Shah came back to complete his fifer.
Too many runs from Peshawar while bowling and in the end they could not get there.
Stay tuned for the post-match presentation...

19.6 Hussain Talat to Salman Irshad, OUCH! That's not how you want to see the game end but it sums up Peshawar Zalmi's evening! Banged into the track at the stumps as it gets high on Irshad who takes his eyes off the ball attempting a swat. Thuds onto the side of his grill and the bowler checks up on him immediately. Irshad is fine and the curtains come down on this run-fest where records tumbled for fun. In the end, Lahore Qalandars win by 40 runs!
19.5 Hussain Talat to Arshad Iqbal, very full at the stumps as Arshad clears his front leg and shovels it out aerially. Deep mid-wicket runs in as it falls well safe with the batters swapping ends
19.4 Hussain Talat to Arshad Iqbal, tails a yorker back into the fourth stump line with Arshad way too early on his wild swing across the line. Sneaks underneath his blade to the keeper. Can Talat bowl a maiden here?
19.3 Hussain Talat to Arshad Iqbal, length delivery outside the off stump. Arshad continues to swing but once again, he connects with thin air alone
19.2 Hussain Talat to Arshad Iqbal, another slower one angling into the stumps as Arshad swings across the line. Deceived by the lack of pace as it misses leg stump
19.1 Hussain Talat to Arshad Iqbal, slower delivery outside the off stump on a length. Arshad stands tall looking to dump it over the bowler's head but it grubs low to beat him to the keeper
Five-for for Shaheen. Truly superb effort this.

18.5 Shaheen Shah Afridi to James Neesham, EDGED AND GONE! SHAHEEN HAS FIVE! Back of a length delivery outside the off stump and Neesham stands tall to throw everything at it. Gets a thick edge that settles into the gloves of Billings and the Qalandars skipper has put in a fast-bowling clinic today. What a bowler!

18.4 Shaheen Shah Afridi to James Neesham, SIX! Clears deep mid-wicket with ease! Full and in the slot on off stump as Neesham picks it up and over across the line by holding his shape. Sails all the way and it brings up the 200 for Peshawar Zalmi!
18.3 Shaheen Shah Afridi to Arshad Iqbal, full and straight at the stumps. Arshad makes room and thumps it down the ground to long on for a single Arshad Iqbal, RHB, comes out to bat
