That was a clinical performance by the Gorkha 11. After restricting the Lisbon Capitals to just 78 runs in their 10 overs, the batters hardly broke a sweat in chasing it down. Opener Imran Khan set up the chase with some blitzkreig right from the outset. By the time he fell after a stroke-filled knock of 42, the game was firmly in the pockets of Gorkha 11. His opening partner, Suman Ghimire, gave him good support with a knock of 20 from just 16 deliveries. Rahul Kumar played a 4-ball 11 cameo at the end.

None of the bowlers in the Capitals' ranks seemed threatening. They had pinned lots of hope on skipper Rahul Bharadwaj but he couldn't make a mark at the start of the innings. Taj Muhammad and Mitul Patel picked up a wicket each but couldn't make much of a difference to the match situation.

With this defeat, the fortunes of Lisbon Capitals look much more precarious. On the other hand, Gorkha 11 storm right up to the top of the table.
