A comfortable victory for Ljubljana as they beat the Zagreb Assasins by 16 runs to make it through to the next stage of the competition. They will now play in Qualifier 2 later in the day. It was a good effort from the Assasins but the target was way too much in the end and despite a brilliant knock from Bharath Gowda, it was a victory for Ljubljana.

It was a dodgy start from the Assasins, scoring just 16 runs in the first three overs which put them on the back foot right from the word go. The struggle was for real and it looked like an easy victory for Ljubljana. However, it was a sensational 50 off 24 deliveries from Bharath Gowda which brought them back into the game.

His innings was studded with 2 fours and 4 sixes which meant that they were just in the game till the final over but the asking rate kept climbing and in the end, the target proved to be way too much for the Assasins.
