A one-man show from Najam Haque has taken Lomma to their third win on the trot and also propelled them to the top of the points table. Haque was merciless today, taking the bowlers to the cleaners. Vaibhav Joshi was the only beacon of hope for Hisingens as he bowled two terrific overs at the top. Extracted some prodigious swing and got the ball to skid on, making it difficult for the openers. He was responsible for two out of the three wickets that fell and his contribution certainly helped take the game to the penultimate over.

However, once Haque got into his own, it was next to impossible to stop the rampaging batter. He launched the ball to all parts of the ground and even the mankad attempt against him was an unsuccessful one. Lomma will be proud of their third win but must certainly be cautious of the fact that their entire batting performance depends upon how Haque goes about his business. There is bound to be a day when Haque does not perform and there will need to be a batter who can do what Haque is currently doing for the side. All-in-all, a comprehensive win for Lomma and they will look to continue their unbeaten streak in the match that follows.
