Madrid CC win the match by 8 wickets

An absolutely amazing chase this from Madrid CC. They paced their chase perfectly, courtesy of their openers, Daniel Bloch [28(17b,6x4,0x6)] and Adam Langhans [16(12b,3x4,0x6)]. Langhans had a fair share of luck going his way in this contest and he made full use of it before getting out in the very next over after the powerplay. Things slowed down a bit in the middle but some whirlwind knocks from Sumon Hossain [20(7b,3x4,1x6)] and Imran Siddque [27(10b,0x4,4x6)] ensured that they were in the chase throughout the time they played and also took their side over the line.

It was a poor bowling effort from the hosts as they gave away too many runs. Jaime Riley, Richard Cunnigham, Chris Batten and Bruce Reynolds picked up a wicket each but barring Riley, none of them were economical. Azard Thajudeen had a terrible day with the ball in hand as he only bowled a solitary over but conceded 24 runs along with the advantage to the batting side.
