What a performance from the Super Kings, who were never behind the eight-ball in this game. But the T10 action is done just yet in the ECL. We've got a cracking contest between VOC Rotterdam and Alby Zalmi going head to head. But that is it for this game. We've had a blast bringing all the live updates but until next time, this is Dwijesh along with my colleague Pradeep signing off. Take Care and Good Bye
Malta Super Kings beat Calpe Giants by 85 runs!
Finally the Super Kings notch up their first win of the tournament and in some style. After posting a massive 172 for 2 in the first innings, Super Kings marched into the defence of the score with their tails up. The Giants might have thought they had a chance at the start but all of it was extinguished very quickly.
Bishnoi was the standout bowler for the Super Kings as he got rid of both Gouws and star allrounder Louis Bruce in the powerplay overs itself. Along with Ishaq, Bishnoi ruled the roost in the first three, using all his tricks to keep the scoring down to a minimum.
However, there was some resistance from Iain Latin, who scored some quick runs in the middle, taking the spinners to the cleaners. He and Samarth Bodha held their own for a brief moment before Fanyan Mughal got rid of them in the space of a few balls.
From that point on, it was just about delaying the inevitable for Calpe Giants. They never really looked like accelerating with Maanav Nayak chipping with a few boundaries towards the end. However, the Super Kings got a chance to fine-tune their bowling attack with almost everyone getting a wicket or two. Bishnoi and Mughal were the pick of the bowlers with four wickets between them while Ishaq was economical in the powerplay and in the middle phase too.
All in all, it was a lopsided game, one not many would have envisioned. But with that win, the Super Kings are in the mix for a top-four finish. As for the Giants, this might have been the final nail in the coffin.

The Giants are going through the motions here with another one biting the dust. The Kings are on the verge of huge win and might even want to bowl their opponents out in the final over. All in all, this has been a brilliant performance from the Super Kings
