Victory for Vikram Vijh and his team! The Luxembourg skipper leads his side to a close, close victory - a defining moment for Luxembourg cricket! The dugout at Luxembourg is absolutely jubilant as they now rush onto the field! The first over of the run-chase painted a rather dull picture for them, though, very little came off it. But after that, Timothy Barker teed off, and much like Basil George early on, he turned out to be the chief architect behind the eventual innings total! Much like Patankar earlier, William Cope had to depart early, but then Shiv Karan Gill provided some much-needed support to the left-handed wicketkeeper!

The similarities in both the innings kept piling up. The number 3s from both the innings were out in the 20s, the chief architects of both innings weren't able to stay till the end, being dismissed in the 60s, and the number 4s from both the teams finished on 49, playing a key role in the eventual outcome of the match! Both Barker and Vikram Vijh had the advantage of the wind bowling towards the leg side, and they kept targeting those areas and cleared the ropes frequently! Malta tried everything as the game started to draw towards a close, but Luxembourg kept piling up the runs! 40 was needed off the last 3 overs, and they finished things off with 2 balls to spare, thanks to their skipper!
