So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj and my co-commentator, Chandra. Do stay tuned to Sportskeeda with a lot of cricketing action going on. The SL vs IRE Test is on currently while the IPL game at 7.30 PM is one to watch out for too. Apart from these high-profile clashes, ECS and Vincy Premier League will go on as usual. Don't miss out on any of these games while I take leave for now!
MATCH OVER!
Markhor win by eight wickets!
Limassol Zalmi 72/4 (10) Markhor 74/2 (7.1)
Rasab Sher 33* (25) | Waqas Akhtar 28 (13)
Murtaza Khan 2-0-14-1
So, a pretty comfortable victory for Markhor as they come back strongly after the defeat against Moufflons earlier in the day. The bowlers did the job for Markhor as they restricted Limassol Zalmi to just 72/4. Thereafter, the opening duo of Rasab Sher and Waqas Akhtar started steadily while the Zalmi bowlers offered freebies on their own. The duo stepped on the accelerator post the Powerplay with the score moving to 55/0 after five overs.
Rasab looked likely to end the game in the next over when Waqas got run-out off the fourth delivery. Muhammad Qamar came in and struck a boundary off his very first ball but he got out off the next delivery as Murtaza Khan got a consolation scalp. In the end, Rasab Sher and skipper Amir Sohail stayed till the end and finished the game with 17 balls to spare!
7.1 Salman Khan to Amir Sohail, THAT'S THAT! Full delivery, Sohail presents a full face of the bat and drives it wide of long-off where the fielder runs across and fumbles as the ball rolls to the fence. So, Markhor wrap up a comfortable eight-wicket victory!
Salman Khan to bowl the eighth over
LIZ finds another breakthrough but it's come very late into this game. Work to do for them as they head into their second loss of the tournament. It has been a dominant show from MAR. Need 3 from 18 balls.

6.2 Murtaza Khan to Muhammad Qamar, PLUMB IN FRONT! Full-toss on off, Qamar moves across and looks to play a slog-sweep but he misses and gets hit on the pad. LBW appeal and the umpire raises his finger!
Muhammad Qamar lbw Murtaza Khan 4 (2b 1X4 0X6)
6.1 Murtaza Khan to Muhammad Qamar, FOUR! Full outside-off, Qamar moves across and swings it cleanly and wide of long-off for a boundary!
Murtaza Khan to bowl from the other end.
Late drama! A lucky break for LIZ finally. Will they be able to capitalize on it? An uphill task but surely not impossible. MAR need 10 more from 24 balls.

5.5 Salman Khan to Rasab Sher, BEATEN! Full and wide of off, Rasab looks to drive from the crease but he misses it
Muhammad Qamar, LHB, walks out to bat next at No.3
5.4 Salman Khan to Rasab Sher, length delivery on off, Rasab defends it to the leg-side while Waqas races forward for a run. Rasab sends him back while the bowler charges in to fire a direct-hit and run-out Waqas. Surprisingly, Waqas just stood still and didn't make an effort to get back to the crease!
Waqas Akhtar run out (Salman Khan) 28 (13b 4X4 1X6)
5.3 Salman Khan to Rasab Sher, FOUR AGAIN! Length delivery with width, Rasab gets forward and guides it between short third and backward point for a boundary. Classy batting from Rasab!
5.2 Salman Khan to Rasab Sher, FOUR! Full and angling down leg, Rasab flicks it wide of the keeper for a boundary. Too leg-sided and that was a gift for Rasab!
