Commentary

What an incredible victory for Marsa CC! They have beaten Gozo by 80 runs after being put to bat first. This has been a forgettable outing for Gozo who have been outplayed in all three departments of the game.

Chasing 151, they were never in the game. On top of that, they lost the early wicket of Milton Devasia in only the second over off a runout. After the powerplay, wickets kept falling like a pack of cards and in no time half their batting lineup was back in the shed. Gozo would struggle to find any positives from this game and to make things worse they will be playing the same side in 20 minutes again.
