It was rather disappointing to see the way Msdia Warriors did not even try to chase this total down. They showed no intent whatsoever, and this will rankle their supporters badly. Marsa were disciplined in their bowling effort, but they did not have to do anything extraordinary to extract this from the Warriors.

The latter decided right from the offing that they had nothing to do with chasing the target, and once a team decides to abide by such a philosophy, it is very difficult for them to come onto the right track. Marsa will be proud of their performance.

Their bowlers, led by the likes of Venkatesh Pakalapati, Uttam Banik and Fanyan Mughal were on fire today! They will want to take this form of theirs further into the competition. For the Warriors, it is time for some reflection.
