What started off as a thrilling second innings, and what could have blossomed into one of the matches to cherish in ECS history, didn't wake up to the terms of reality. After a fabulous and economical show with the ball, Ajin Soman, played a fantastic cameo up top of 41 off just 13 deliveries, setting things up for an enthralling chase, only for him to find no support from the middle order.
Jithin Johny played an impactful 41 of 20 deliveries, with some magnificent sixes! As far as the bowling department from Marsa's perspective is concerned, Fanyan Mughal had a good outing with the new ball, conceding 25 off his 2 overs, picking up 2 crucial wickets. However, the impactful performance for Marsa with the ball, has to go Adnan Hasan, for his exemplary spell in the middle overs, dismissing the 2 men who were termed menacing with the bat, 1 of whom actually lived up to the buzz created around his name, Ajin Soman, while the all through the tournament consistent, Sajith Sukumaran was removed by the cheeky bowler.
The aggressive Rocky Dianish, maybe if had got going, the match could have taken a completely different direction, as, all that was needed for Msida Warriors was an additional batting performance.
Marsa outweighed Msida Warriors in all 3 departments, however fielding still remains a concern for Marsa CC...
In conclusion, this was overall an entertaining game of cricket!

9.6 Haroon Mughal to Anson Joseph, FOUR RUNS! BUT MARSA CC ARE VICTORIOUS! Full and wide outside off-stump. Joseph plays the lofted square drive and manages to find the gap with two fielders trying to stop the boundary!
9.6 Haroon Mughal to Shijil Joy, WIDE outside the line of off-stump with a loopy delivery. The batter tried to smack it away from the body off the front foot and got STUMPED in the process after missing out on the shot!
9.5 Haroon Mughal to Jibin Sebastian, short outside off-stump. Cut away to deep point off the back foot for one.
9.4 Haroon Mughal to Jibin Sebastian, full toss around off-stump. Knocked to the right of the bowler from the crease, no run.
Jibin Sebastian walks into the middle, with not many balls to spare
9.3 Haroon Mughal to Jithin Johny, BOWLED! Full and in the block hole on leg-stump. Johny plays all around it and misses. The stumps then are in a mess!
9.2 Haroon Mughal to Jithin Johny, good length ball around off-stump. A play and a miss this time from the crease through the line, no run.
9.1 Haroon Mughal to Jithin Johny, FOUR! Full around off-stump. Heaved on the on-side in the gap towards deep mid-wicket for a boundary!
Farhan Masih concludes an expensive spell, but a good over. Jithin Johny has to shuffle his feet more, to get to the line of the ball to be able to heave it across the line, unlike the way he missed on the 4th delivery of this over.

8.1 Farhan Masih to Jithin Johny, SIX RUNS! Full and in the slot on leg-stump. Pumped over deep mid-wicket from deep in the crease for a maximum!
A superb over from Waqas Khan! He used all his options to his advantage, from the ball angled towards his legs to a little towards he stumps and a very subtle variation, presented outside off stump, not giving both the batters any scope of getting under ball, such was the length- a just short or the perfect good length kind of length, preventing any show of intent from both these batters
