Mater Dei started off nicely, with some big hits and helpful bowling from Marsa!

Samuel Stanislaus was highly impressive for Mater Dei, scoring 47 runs off only 20 balls. But apart from him, handy contributions did not quite come their way and as the innings progressed, wickets kept falling at regular intervals and they fell off the radar in terms of staying up with the asking rate.

The bowling from both David Athwal and Haroon Mughal was impressive. They broke the back of the Mater Dei batting and stopped them from getting those crucial boundaries.
