Mechelen Eagles CC win the match by 29 runs

An innings of two halves for ICCB here as they have let go of a very good chance of making it to the knockouts. They started their innings with an excellent powerplay as they breezed to 31/1 after three overs.

When they expected things to go swimmingly for them, they lost wickets in clusters and things then began to go on a downward spiral. They lost quick wickets, followed by a little recovery act from Anirudh Pothamshetty and Gangadhar Barrey. They two stuck around for a while but were sent packing soon after. From there onwards, there was no one for the ICCB team as they limped to 81/8 in their 10 overs.

It was an excellent bowling effort from the Mechelen Eagles, who did very well to pull things back post the powerplay. Ainuddin Zakhel was the star of the show for them as he picked up 3 wickets giving away almost nothing. Ikramullah Naseer and Mazar Marshall picked up a couple of wickets each as the trio kept the ICCB batters away from chasing down this total.
