That's it from a Capsey masterclass, we have another WBBL game coming your way and then ECS action later. Stay tuned at Sportskeeda as this is the duo of Divyansh and Sooryanarayanan, signing off!
Alice Capsey, the youngster, has played a wonderful innings and won it for the Stars here. An absolute gem of an innings from her, 80 not out from 52 balls and she came in to bat in the third over. She hit 3 fours and 5 huge sixers to get them over the line.
Sutherland and Capsey got a partnership going in to rescue themselves after losing 2 quick wickets, after Sutherland's wicket it was an Alice Capsey show.
Molly Strano bowled really well, with the figures of 3/17, got 2 wickets in the power surge. Carey with 2 wickets as well but they could not defend 130 in the end as no one could stop Capsey.
19.1 Hayley Jensen to Alice Capsey, FOUR! TAKE A BOW ALICE CAPSEY! She fittingly seals it with a boundary to cap off one of the most mature innings out of the top-drawer under pressure. Pace off on a full length outside off stump and all she does is shuffle across and bring out the ramp straight of short fine leg. Goes trickling along past the fielder's chase to hit the ropes and the Stars are chuffed in the dugout as they keep their season alive. Melbourne Stars win by 4 wickets with 5 deliveries to spare!
Hayley Jensen, (3.0-0-20-0) is back into the attack.
Capsey with back to back sixes in the over and just 3 runs required in the last over now. She missed out on a full toss on the last ball though.

18.6 Nicola Carey to Alice Capsey, OH! It's a rank full toss well outside off stump as Capsey shuffles across for a wild heave across the line. Thuds into her thigh pad and rolls square on the leg-side for a leg bye
18.5 Nicola Carey to Alice Capsey, full at the stumps, Capsey skips down the track and shovels it out towards mid-off. Both batters take off but wisely decide against the run
18.4 Nicola Carey to Alice Capsey, pitched up at the stumps, Capsey works it towards long on with a push and sprints across before haring back for the second run
6 from 9 required, has Capsey won it for the Stars or do we have another twist left
18.3 Nicola Carey to Alice Capsey, SIX MORE! CAPSEY IS DOING IT FOR THE STARS! Angled into middle and off stump on a full length and after a slight shuffle, Capsey sits on one knee to slog it with disdain over square leg to send it sailing comfortably back for six. What a talent this prodigy is!
12 off 10 required now
18.2 Nicola Carey to Alice Capsey, SIX! TREMENDOUS SHOT! Full in length in the corridor as Capsey gives the charge to get underneath it and power it over extra cover. Nobody in the outfield but it wouldn't have mattered as it soars over the ropes. Wow!
18.2 Nicola Carey to Alice Capsey, WIDE! Backs away outside her stumps but Carey spears a full one past the tramline. Left alone!
18.1 Nicola Carey to Sophie Reid, back of a length delivery at the stumps, Reid backs away and flat-bats it over the bowler's head. The top-spin on this one means that it settles into the hands of long on running to her right and it brings Capsey back on strike
Strano gets 2 wickets in the power surge and gives away just 4 runs from it. Faltum tried to hit it behind square but hit it straight to the fielder and then Moloney is plumb in front of the stumps. 20 required off 12 balls.
