Mountaineers beat Mid West Rhinos by 20 runs Brian Bennett 62(48) | Ryan Burl 55(22) Donald Tripano 5-17(3.3) | Carl Mumba 2-37(3)
An unbelievable win for the Mountaineers after Donald Tiripano turned the game on its head with a fifer. When Ryan Burl was hitting them the game seemed dead and buried.
But from 162 for four in 15.3 overs, the Rhinos collapsed to 167 all out in 18.3 overs after Burl got out. Tiripano got into the act and took 4 of the last 5 wickets to fall.
The Rhinos were behind the rate when they were reduced to 53/3 and then 91/4 but Burl and Naqvi launched a stirring counter-attack with the left-hander especially severe on the loose stuff.
But it was Tiripano who had the final say with his full and straight bowling.
A superb finish and one that was least expected with the way the Rhinos were going.
Donald Tripano (Man of the Match): I am really happy for the guys and very pleased to help the team over the line. The batters played magnificently. After winning this game, the guys are pumped up and looking forward to the next match

17.1 Victor Nyauchi to Neville Madziva, yorker length on middle stump, Madviza digs it to short mid-wicket. He wants a needless single but Mavuta sends him back. He slips and the keeper collects the ball to knock the stumps. Looks like Rhinos fluff this chase after being in cruise control
