Right then, a one-sided contest in the end and Moravian CC did not put up a lot of fight too, with the Barbarians cruising along to a win quite comfortably. That is all that we have for you from this ECS game. Switch tabs and catch the final game of the day as the Barbarians take the field once again against Vinohardy. Will be a much more closely-fought contest. Until next time then, this is me, Maanas, and Pragadeesh, bidding you adieu! Stay safe!
Prague Barbarians 69/2(7) beat Moravian CC 68/6(10) by 8 wickets
Quite a straightforward chase for the Barbarians and they deliver, not letting wickets fall and putting any pressure on their unreliable middle order. Jahanur Hoque played a brilliant innings despite losing his opening partner in the first over itself. Joined by Murali Vandrasi now, who had wreaked havoc with the ball earlier, the duo stitched together a 50-run partnership.
While Murali started off the innings pretty slowly, he went through the gears and finished with a strike-rate of 160, which was well below 100 for a majority of his innings. Some belligerent hitting from his bat, especially against the opposition skipper, put the Barbarians in a position that they just could not lose the game from. Vishal Manay joined Hoque at the crease and the duo saw them home, with the former playing the role of the second-fiddle and just knocking the ball around for singles and doubles while Hoque did all of the big hitting that was required.
A poor showing in the field from Moravian CC and their campaign continues to sink further. They are officially eliminated from the tournament now and will return pretty disappointed with how the season has panned out for them. Meanwhile, the Barbarians will look to win the rest of the encounters so that they will not have to bear the brunt of facing a higher-ranked side from Group A in the playoffs.
7.1 Lal Mohan to Jahanur Hoque, That sums up the Moravian Season in this tournament. Length delivery going down leg, it is beyond anyone's reach and the ball goes to the ropes towards the fine leg region

A massive wicket of the hard-hitting Murali in that over ensures that this game drags on for a fee more overs as it marches towards its inevitable end. With just 15 runs needed from 4 overs, the pair in the middle should comfortably get this.
