That's all from us then!! We hope you enjoyed our coverage of this "Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20" game! This is Soumarya Dutta signing off on behalf of Bidipto Datta. See you soon.
Mayank Agarwal has been adjudged the Player of the Match! Here is what he has to say.
Mayank Agarwal (Bengaluru Blasters captain): It feels very nice to be standing here at this time of the contest! The boys did put in a great fight today. Mohsin Khan did well to put in a match-winning performance in his first game. Just wish we could come up with something similar earlier on. I thought Karthik S U played some amazing shots, even to good balls but we hung in there and the bowlers kept focusing on the next ball more than anything else. The owners have been supportive right through. That always helps to keep the morale high.
It is time for the post-match presentation!
Mysore Warriors 202/8 in 20 overs Karthik S U 70(30) | Mohsin Khan 4/35 Ravikumar Samarth 35(16) | Sarfaraz Ashraf 2/23
WHAT AN EXHILARATING contest we've had here!!! It went down to the final ball and the Blasters held their nerve to clinch the game in the end. The Mysore Warriors made a real match of this target of 214 and dominated for the first part of the second innings. However, they fell just short in the end and the Blasters managed to pull off the game by the barest of margins.
They started off with a bang as Karthik S U and Samarth went berserk in the powerplay. They had an unbelievable first six overs of the innings as they raced off to 88 runs. Karthik was incredible as he came in and smacked an outstanding 70 of just 30 balls. However once he was gone, the pressure increased and the wheels fell off for the Warriors batting line up.
Karun Nair scratched around for a while but he was dismissed for a tame knock of 32 from 34. They were looking down and out at that stage but a brief partnership between Suchith and Shoaib Manager raised their hopes. There was massive mix up in the penultimate over which led them to loose the wicket of Manager and from there the Blasters were not going to loose grip of the game.
The Blasters seamers took some real pounding early on but the spinners brought them back into the contest. Young Shubham Hedge was tidy but the two other spinners, Mohsin and Ashraf ran through the middle order of the Warriors. Ashraf was really economical but it was Mohsin who struck at crucial junctures and didn't loose his cool under pressure. Tanish Mahesh had to deliver the final over and he held his calm to see them through as they won the game by 11 runs. Overall, it has been an unbelievable game of cricket and the Blasters have finally got themselves off the mark this season.

19.6 Tanish Mahesh to M Venkatesh, BENGALURU BLASTERS GET THEIR FIRST WIN! Full and fast outside off-stump. Venkatesh swings hard from the back foot to try and get under it but all he does is miss it completely! No run and the valiant run chase ends in a loss for Mysore Warriors.
Tanish Mahesh holds his nerves and he has ensured that the Blasters will spoil the party for the Warriors here.
19.5 Tanish Mahesh to Monish Reddy, short and slow outside off-stump. Monish tries to slog it over mid-wicket off the back foot but fails to connect! A bye does get given away but that hardly matters now!
This game is STILL ALIVE!!!!!! We're going down to the wire now and the Warriors need 12 runs from 2 balls here. This has been an absolute cliffhanger of a game.
19.4 Tanish Mahesh to Monish Reddy, THAT'S SIX! Full but in the slot on off-stump. Clobbered over long-off's right from the crease for a maximum! 200 up for Mysore!12 required off 2 balls now.
19.3 Tanish Mahesh to M Venkatesh, full and in the block hole around off-stump. Venkatesh swings hard and drills it out of the block hole but for only a single to long-off.
19.2 Tanish Mahesh to Monish Reddy, good length ball on off-and-middle. Swung around to deep backward square-leg off the back foot for a single only! That was an inside edge that did not quite work out.
19.1 Tanish Mahesh to Monish Reddy, over the wicket, good length ball around off-stump. Monish steps out and scuffs it over extra cover for a couple of runs.
Tanish Mahesh [1.0-0-24-0] comes back into the attack.
The Warriors lost Shoaib in that over and they need 22 runs from the final over now. They don't have a front line batter in the middle and it's down to their final two batters. Can they pull off an upset here??

18.6 L R Kumar to M Venkatesh, short off-cutter across the left-hander. Venkatesh has a swing across the line to it on the back foot but fails to make any contact! Dot ball.
18.6 L R Kumar to M Venkatesh, short and way too WIDE outside the line off-stump! This too will have to be bowled again.
Monish Reddy, RHB, comes to the crease.
Oh NO!!!! That was disastrous cricket from Venkatesh and he sold his partner down the river. The second run was always on and Shoaib wanted to be back on strike.
18.5 L R Kumar to Shoaib Manager, THIS MAY BE THE MATCH TO BENGALURU! RUN OUT! Full and in the block hole around off-stump. Shoaib managed to drill it down to long-on's left for a single. He tried to run back for the second but his partner was not interested. In the end, Shoaib had to make the long walk back to the pavilion after falling way short of making it back in the crease at the bowler's end!
Shoaib Manager run out ( Mayank Agarwal/ LR Kumar ) 13(6b, 1x4, 1x6)
18.5 L R Kumar to Shoaib Manager, WIDE outside off-stump on this occasion. This will have to be re-bowled! Will it prove costly?
