No entertainment, no fireworks, and no drama in the whole match. In fact, this 112 run chase ended in a one-sided affair as it was all Ireland in the second period. Full credit goes to the bowlers as they made life difficult for the batsmen in these bowling heavy conditions. Leede and Rijke put on a 40-run partnership after the dismissal of Siegers inside the powerplay.
The Dutch did well to negotiate the bowlers until the drinks break, but what transpired afterwards was beyond anyone's imagination. They lost six wickets in the span of 8 runs as Carl Murray and Delany were all over the Dutch middle order. Richardson too bowled a fantastic spell, and her half-century in these testing conditions was quite remarkable. We don't mind saying this again.
With this win, Ireland finish second below Scotland in the points table. That's it from us and hope you enjoyed the coverage. Until then, this is Pragadeesh, signing off on behalf of my fellow colleague, SooryaNarayanan Sesha. Cheers.

This has been a professional defense from the Irish though as they end the tournament with an impressive win. Ireland win by 24 runs.

A dream spell comes to an end for Cara Murray. She was the chief architect to cause the Dutch collapse after the drinks break.
