Scotland Women win the match by 5 wickets
A comprehensive win for the Scotland Women as they get their first points on the board. They will now be looking to carry on the confidence from this game and will be looking to steamroll past their other opponents in such a comprehensive fashion.
They had a good start to the chase as they managed to score 47 runs without losing a wicket in the powerplay. They only took 6 overs to score as many runs as the Nederlands Women managed in 10 overs. The opening stand of Sarah Bryce and Lorna Jack crossed the 50 run mark and Scotland looked to romp past the opponents unscathed.
They lost their first wicket for 69 runs. It looked like a matter of losing just a wicket, but then they lost 4 and quickly within the blink of one's eye. Caroline de Lange picked up 4 wickets in a span of 15 runs as the Scotland Women fell from a comfortable position of 69/0 to 84/4. It was all on the relaxed heads of the Katie McGill and Abbi Aitkin Drummond as they experienced due saw through initial deliveries and scored the winning runs for their side
16.3 Heather Siegers to Abbi Aitken-Drummond, SCOTLAND WIN IN COMPREHENSIVE FASHION! A touch short on the stumps, easy for Abbi to rock back and pull this one through square leg to secure the victory for her side. A surprise victory for some but Scotland have laid the earlier marker for this tournament! Scotland Women win by 6 wickets.
16.2 Heather Siegers to Katie McGill, good length delivery on the stumps, McGill stays on the backfoot to work this towards mid-wicket for a single. Scores are level!
16.1 Heather Siegers to Katie McGill, a tad short on the leg-stump line, skidded through quicker to thud into McGill's pads as she tried to swivel on that pull
A sure-shot win now for the Scotland W as they pick up 8 runs from that over and now have only a couple of runs to chase for victory. There was some aggressive running out in the middle from the Scotland Women and they will now be hoping not to do anything crazy to detriment their chances of a win

15.2 Silver Siegers to Abbi Aitken-Drummond, tossed up fullish delivery on middle and leg-stump, Abbi prods forward to defend with soft hands
15.1 Silver Siegers to Katie McGill, quicker delivery at a length sliding down the leg side, McGill turned it around the corner for a very tight single at short fine leg. The Dutch were convinced that was out!
Another tight over from Lynch here. She keeps things under check and has only conceded 5 runs in the over. 5 overs remain and Scotland W needs 10 runs to win at a required run rate of 2 runs every over. Scotland Women shouldn't worry here unless they lose yet another wicket.
