Denmark were cruising to a rather comfortable victory, or were at least on course for it, before Dutch captain Sebastiaan Braat introduced himself into the attack. Having already got his confidence high after taking an absolute screamer to get rid of Shangeev Thanikaithasan, Braat picked up the wickets of Taranjit Bharaj and Saran Aslam in one over to break the backbone of Denmark's batting.

Denmark's bowlers had not done themselves proud earlier in Netherlands XI's innings, and their batters followed suit. None of their batters managed to pass the 30-run mark in this innings. Magnus Kristensen's late burst gave them some hope, but by then the game was already done and dusted. Full credit to Netherlands XI, and their hero Braat for their stupendous performance in this game. Denmark's winless streak continues while Netherlands XI keep climbing in the points table.
