Alright! Pakistan looked unstoppable against Bangladesh and they backed it up with another sensational performance against the home team to win two matches in a row.

Babar Azam: We played really well and the bowlers bowled beautifully. We accessed the conditions and executed really well with the ball. I am very happy that there are no extra runs. We have some rest to set together and discuss what we do in the next matches

Kane Williamson: Yeah it was scrappy, there were some good bits but Pakistan were clinical with their bowling and credit has to go to them. We certainly didn't think it was so wet considering the temperature is cool throughout. It was a surface where finding good rhythm is diffcult but Chapman came in and found some momentum in the innings. Even batting in the second innings wasn't easy, having said that Pakistan were outstanding today. Hopefully there is a few learning from this before going into tomorrow night. Both teams played on this track, so everyone know what to expect

Babar Azam is the Player of the Match for his sublime unbeaten 79. Here's what the Pakistan skipper has to say: We started well with the bat. Me and Rizwan planned to utilize the first six overs seeing the dew on the ground. We have a plan to send him (Shadab) up to take the charge to the bowlers and he has the skill. Me and Shadab planned such that he took his chances. When I settled down and assessed the conditions I planned to play until the end. There was a bit of a difference (between innings) because of the dew and it came on nicely. The spinner's deliveries didn't grip much because of the dew.

It was a clinical performance from Pakistan as they outplayed New Zealand in all departments of the game and secured their second win in the Tri-series. Babar's class was in full flow as the skipper led from the front, smashing 79 runs in 47 deliveries.

It was a rare failure for Rizwan at the top but the partnership between Shadab and Babar turned out to be match-defining in the end. Meanwhile, the bowling spearhead Trent Boult failed to leave a mark at the start, while Ish Sodhi wasn't allowed to dictate terms in the middle as Shadab attacked him and he proved expensive in the first two overs.

Trent Boult and Southee applied some pressure at the back end of the innings but Babar Azam smashed two boundaries before Haider smoked a massive six and a boundary to release all the tension in the next over to push Pakistan on the verge of the finish line.

18.2 Ish Sodhi to Babar Azam, FOUR! FINISHES IT IN STYLE DOES THE SKIPPER! It was only fitting he wrapped it up as well after a masterclass of the highest order. Tossed up full and well outside off stump and he sits on one knee to carve it handsomely over extra cover to pick out the vacant spaces. They have dominated from start to finish today and unsurprisingly, Pakistan win by 6 wickets with 10 deliveries to spare!

17.6 Blair Tickner to Haider Ali, FOUR! CRUNCHED! Slower delivery on a length outside off stump and Haider hangs deep in his crease to crash it powerfully over the covers. As flat a hit as they come and it goes scorching towards the fence as Pakistan go within touching distance of the finish line!

17.5 Blair Tickner to Haider Ali, SIX! KABOOM! Who needs a sighter eh? Half-tracker outside off stump and he unleashes a majestic front foot pull over deep square leg who can only watch it soar miles back over his head. 98 metres! Oof!

17.4 Blair Tickner to Babar Azam, length delivery just around the line of off stump, Babar opens the face and dabs it to point. The throw at the bowler's end as the batteres decide against the run but it's an errant one with nobody backing up, allowing the batters to swap ends eventually.

17.3 Blair Tickner to Babar Azam, FOUR MORE! IN THE GAP! Short of a length slower delivery with room on offer, Babar stands tall and thumps it without the best of timing but he picks the gap past mid-off and through extra cover before the outfield does the rest. He's doing it easy now!
