Thank you so much for joining us for yet another exciting game of cricket, this is Pratyush Rohra and myself (Pranav Danani) who will be taking your leave. If you are wondering what next ? Sophie Devine (Captain, New Zealand-W) : "We haven't done this in 2 and half years. It will surely be a challenge to continue this way. The way the batters have handled the run chase was amazing. I can honestly talk about all the batters all day. The energy was fantastic and this is really impressive as in a 50 over game, things can change quickly and now that we have scored 270 plus, we know we can chase the total down and work on the small things in the upcoming World Cup and the group should be really proud of what they have done today. We will celebrate the chase for now and will work on the weaknesses to come."

Mithali Raj (Captain, India-W) : "We didn't get the partnerships in the middle order. Deepti Sharma's innings got us the score. The batting unit has done well. A lot of areas we need to work as a unit. Hopefully we will score a 300 in the next game."

Lauren Down (Player of the match): Feeling really nice, we had some fun. It's really nice to see people contributing right across the series. At 152-4, we spoke about keeping it simple and putting the bad balls away. Not feeling too much pressure. We back our batting order and we bat pretty deep. (On India) They are a really good side, there's no shame in admitting it. They'll come out all guns blazing in the next to matches.

New Zealand have won three games in a row against India and have won the series on their home turf as they have chased down the second highest total of all ODI competitions in Women's Cricket. The batters in the second innings were looking absolutely solid and even after losing wickets from time to time, they kept building the partnerships and rebuild their innings after every downfall. But the second highest total is not chased down that easily, right ?

The match started with the fast bowling veteran, Jhulan Goswami, taking 2 wickets in absolutely no time as she made a mess of the opening partnership by sending Devine and Bates back to the dug out early on and it looked like India were on their way to comeback in the series and keep their hopes alive but little did they know that there was a storm of runs coming over the sunshine of the wickets.

Amy Satterthwaite and Amelia Kerr, made a 100 plus partnership as the batters kept getting the required run rate in almost every over and even though 3 wickets fell in the third powerplay with both the batters being dismissed by Goswami and Rana, it was Down and Martin who got the 50 plus partnership with Down scoring a 64 and by then, the damage had already been done. Deepti Sharma, even after a major breakthrough, could not stop the White Ferns to chase down the record breaking total and get the series win for them.
