It was a comfortable victory for the Nicosia Tigers in the end, beating the Amdocs by 28 runs. Some late hitting from the middle-order batters wasn’t quite enough as Tigers put up another clinical performance. Amdocs needed to get off to a flying start if they harboured hopes of chasing this down. Preetaj Deol and Gaurav Sagwan were dismissed early which put them on the backfoot right from the word go.

Vimal Khanduri and Vinod Sawant tried to resurrect the innings but they were already well behind the eight ball and despite their best efforts, they fell well short of the eventual target. Khanduri struck a 15-ball 29 which included 6 boundaries while Sawant remained unbeaten on 40 off 17 deliveries to make things interesting.

Towards the end, it was Ketan Dhane who smashed some lusty blows and took the side over the 100-run mark. It was a great bowling effort from the Nicosia Tigers with Iftekar Jaman and Tomal Aminul picking a couple of wickets each. Earlier it was a great batting effort by Nicosia Tigers to post a commendable score of 138.
