That is all we have from the commentary box today. Till the next time, this is myself (Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) signing off also on behalf of my fellow commentator and good mate Rajarshi Das.
Nutmeg Warriors won by 5 wickets (with 7 deliveries to spare)
Ginger Generals 51/6 in 10 overs
Johann Jeremiah 13(16) | Samuel Charles 12(14) Imran Joseph 2/9(2) | Sheldon Joseph 2/11(2)
Nutmeg Warriors 55/5 in 8.5 overs
Johnson Charles 18(10) | Andre Fletcher 14*(7) Davis Charles 2/19(1.5) | Calvin Blache 1/4(2)
The Nutmeg Warriors made heavy work of the straightforward target of 52 but eventually went onto win the game in the penultimate over with Andre Fletcher smashing a few lusty blows and remaining unbeaten on 14 off 7 deliveries.
The run-chase began with Sunil Narayan struggling to time the ball. Johnson Charles then turned it on in the 2nd over and smashed a couple of sixes and a four en route his knock of 18 in 11 deliveries. After his departure, suddenly there was a lull in the stroke making and the boundaries were few and far between.
Andre Fletcher decided to give opportunities to the other batters and kept pushing himself down. A cluster of wickets towards the fag end of the match turned the tide a bit but then Fletcher came out with a positive frame of mind and slammed a couple of sixes to seal the deal for the Nutmeg Warriors.
The ball gripped on the surface and the low-scoring thriller eventually ended with the Warriors winning by 5 wickets. A couple of tidy overs towards the final stages of the match make the equation interesting but with Spiceman out there, it was always a match for them to lose.
8.5 Davis Charles to Andre Fletcher, SIX! And that is that! Davis dished out a high full toss on off stump, Fletcher got right under it and deposited the ball yards back into the stands at deep mid wicket! It took them quite a while to get there, but Nutmeg Warriors get past the line with 5 wickets and 7 deliveries to spare!
8.4 Davis Charles to Andre Fletcher, swing and a miss! This was full and straight, Fletcher looked to heave it towards the leg side, the ball might have taken an inside edge to the keeper, who botched it as well
8.3 Davis Charles to Andre Fletcher, SIX! This was full and straight, dished out in the slot, Fletcher lined this one up and smashed the ball into the grass banks at deep mid wicket! That might be the game killer!
8.3 Davis Charles to Andre Fletcher, wide, on a good length, the ball went just over the tramline. But the umpire had a long thought about it, and spread out her arms
8.2 Davis Charles to Shadrack Descartes, full outside off stump, Descartes drove this one towards the man at deep cover for a single
8.1 Davis Charles to Andre Fletcher, full and straight, Fletcher drove at it uppishly and took a single to the man at long on
What a sensational over and the match carries on. What should be a sail towards the target has gone to the 9th over with 12 more needed. With the ball gripping on the surface and the slower balls holding on the surface, this might not be the easiest one to chase down.

7.6 Calvin Blache to Shadrack Descartes, play and a miss! This was on a good length angled across the batter, Descartes looked to cut but missed!
7.5 Calvin Blache to Andre Fletcher, on a good length on off stump, Fletcher guided the ball down to the man at long on for a single
7.4 Calvin Blache to Andre Fletcher, full outside off, Fletcher looked to drive at it but missed
7.3 Calvin Blache to Andre Fletcher, the keeper was excited with the bounce on that! On a good length outside off, the ball turned and bounced as Fletcher pulled his bat away!
Andre Fletcher, RHB comes out to the crease.
7.2 Calvin Blache to Akeem Alexis, OUT! Ginger Generals are making a match out of this! Blache landed this one on a good length outside off, Alexis looked to loft the ball down the ground, ended up making good contact but found the fielder at long on!
Akeem Alexis c A Dewar b Cavin Blache 5 (13b, 0x4, 0x6)
7.1 Calvin Blache to Akeem Alexis, short of a length outside off, Alexis smacked the ball right back at the bowler. The ball landed just short of the bowler
The Nutmeg Warriors still need 13 more runs to win. A couple of wickets for Davis Charles in that over which has still kept them in the game. Should still be an easy task for the Warriors but you never really predict anything in cricket.
