That brings us to the end of Sportskeeda's coverage for this encounter. Till the next time, its goodbye from me, Arya Sekhar Chakraborty and my fellow commentator and good mate Rajarshi Das. Cheers!!
The Malo Qalandars are jubilant. They dropped just one game during the whole campaign and should look back at some key moments which went their way. They were dominant all through the tournament and it's only just that the most consistent team won the competition. Oeiras gave them a hard fight but in the end, they were just too good.
Azhar Andani and Miguel Machado got Oeiras off to a flying start and they looked well in pursuit of the target at the end of the powerplay. 38/0 at the end of the 3rd over was a perfect platform for them to win the championship. However it wasn't to be as consistent wickets at regular intervals eventually helped Malo win the match by 12 runs.
Brendan Badenhorst flayed his bat around for some quick runs but couldn't quite stay till the end to see his side through. Just when the ship was sinking for Oeiras, it was Junaid Khan who turned it around with a hat-trick of boundaries but fell the very next ball. When he got castled after getting carried away, it was a downward slide for Oeiras as they lost four wickets in four deliveries.
9.5 Najam Shahzad to Girish Singh, BOWLED HIM!!! MALO ARE THE CHAMPIONS OF SANTAREM ONCE AGAIN!!!!! The players huddle up and jump around in delight! Great scenes at the Cartaxo Oval! Najam kept this one full and straight, Girish looked to slog at it, ended up meeting thin air, the ball sneaked through and knocked the stumps off! Malo claim the 2023 ECS Portugal title, beating Oeiras in the summit clash by 12 runs!
9.4 Najam Shahzad to Girish Singh, SIX! Two more of those will tie the game!!! This was a slow, loopy full toss, Girish thumped the ball towards deep mid wicket and cleared the ropes!
9.3 Najam Shahzad to Girish Singh, good length delivery, flat batted to the man at deep mid wicket. They do not want the run
9.2 Najam Shahzad to Girish Singh, good length delivery bowled straight, Girish clipped the ball off his hips towards the man at long leg. Girish wanted a second, they went for it, the throw was high and they got there
9.1 Najam Shahzad to Girish Singh, FOUR! This match is still not over! This was full and on middle and leg, Girish looked to heave it towards the leg side, the ball took the inner splice of the blade and rolled past the fielder at deep square, they gave chase but gave it up eventually
Four wickets in four balls for the Malo Qalandars and they are just moments away from winning the tournament again. Oeiras have fallen like a pack of cards and doesn't seem to have an answer at this point in time.

8.2 Syed Maisam to Balwinder Singh, OUT!!! Banged in short and straight, Balwinder made room and looked to cut this one aerially towards deep point, the fielder there swooped in, got under the ball and took the catch! Malo are one wicket away from claiming the title!
Balwinder Singh c Mian Shahid b Syed Maisam 0 (1b, 0x4, 0x6)
Balwinder Singh, RHB comes out to the crease.
8.1 Syed Maisam to Keagan Da Silva, RUN OUT! OEIRAS ARE FALLING LIKE A PACK OF CARDS HERE! This was on a short of length, Da Silva pulled the ball to the man at deep mid wicket. The fielder there fumbled the ball and Da Silva looked to take a second. The throw from Amandeep came in quickly, but was high for the keeper. Roushan, though, gathered it with one hand and broke the stumps in one motion, Da Silva dived but fell short!
Keagan Da Silva run out Amandeep Singh/Roushan Singh 2 (3b, 0x4, 0x6)
Oeiras have lost 5 wickets in the last 13 balls and are staring down the barrel. As far as the required rate is concerned, it's still manageable but wickets is a major issue here. They are already 7 down and are in a whole heap of trouble.
