That was one of the most clinical and comprehensive performances you'll see in the European Cricket Series. After Team Tigers Portugal struggled throughout with their batting, one would imagine things couldn't get any worse for them. Well, they did. And it all happened rather quickly.

4.3 overs is all it took for Conrad Greenshields and his men to wrap up this game. Azhar Adhani was the only casualty in this contest for them but he too gave it a bit of a whacking before being dismissed. It was the captain who led from the front with a 10-ball 31 to seal the deal alongside Machado, who was more than happy to play second fiddle.

It was an outing to forget for the TTP, pretty much in all three departments. The batters never looked up to the challenge and the bowling and the fielding didn't live up to the mark either. With the table shaping up fascinatingly, they will be looking to bounce back strongly from this loss.
