PIC are the champions from Group F and it was a relatively easy time for them out there in the middle. The Spanish side would be thanking their star skipper Muhammad Babar for his incredible all-around performance, first with the ball and then with the bat.
Babar opened the bowling for PIC and picked up two wickets in the powerplay. He then opened the batting and scored a blistering 20-ball 50 to take his side close to the summit. Donaustadt did get a few wickets which might have brought them back in the game but the new batters came out swinging and not allowing the opposition to settle.
In the end, 118 was never enough for Donaustadt. The early extras did not help their cause as well. PIC never seemed to be troubled and they are deserving winners of Group F. Can they go all the way? Well just like Pakistan, they have to rely on their "Babar" to come good!
