Rohit Paudel (Nepal captain): The way our opening bowlers used the new ball was brilliant, coming to our batters, our openers set up this win, we would've won comfortably but we lost some wickets in the end. With the youngsters are coming in, pushing the seniors and I hope they do well in the future. We wouldn't have lost so many wickets but we would like to improve. We'd like to take one game at time, next game is crucial.

Assad Vala (Papua New Guinea captain): I think, during the second break we were good but we were 20 or 30 runs short but disappointed that I got out, if we had batted for another 5-10 overs, we didn't give enough for the tail enders to do some damage. As soon as the new ball got soft, it got easier, we didn't bowl as good as we wanted to, something to need to work on, hopefully we can come back stronger tomorrow.

Kushal Bhurtel is the Player of the Match! Here's what he has to say: Very pleased with the performance, the wicket was good in the second innings, wanted to bat through and knew we could get the job done. We knew later on, the wicket will be good to bat on and felt good to play. Different players play different role, me and Sheikh go for our shots and it worked well for us today.

Right, so there were a few nervy moments towards the end, but Nepal have got over the line comfortably in the end and it has been a dominating performance for them! It was set up by their openers who got them off to a flying start. Aasif Sheikh was looking in formidable touch, before he was unfortunately run out .

Once he was gone, there were a cluster of wickets in the middle overs and PNG got themselves in a position to fightback. Especially with skipper Rohit Paudel gone, things could have been tricky for them. But the experienced pair of Deependra Airee and Aarif Sheikh almost took them over the line and set up the foundation of the win. In the end, Kusal Malla finished things off in style with a SIX to seal the 5th consecutive win for Nepal in ODI's.

The Papua New Guinea bowlers didn't have a lot to defend but they deserve credit for the way they fought and for making a match out of it. Skipper Assad Vala fought from the front and managed to pick up 3 wickets in his spell of overs. He was ably assisted by Sese Bau who picked up a sole wicket but was miserly throughout. Norman Vanua was good too for his spell and he did a decent job early on in the innings.

Overall, it's a great win for Nepal and they've kept themselves in the hunt for the third place in the World Cricket League, points table and it means that they're still in with a chance to make it to Zimbabwe for the ODI World cup qualifiers. For PNG, well their fortunes seem to have really dipped and they will only play for pride from here on in this competition.

45.2 Sese Bau to Kushal Malla, FOUR! SEALS THE GAME IN STYLE! Nepal picks up their fifth win in a row, they are certainly on a roll here. Malla lunges into the good length delivery and CLOBBERS it straight down the ground for a boundary.

45.1 Sese Bau to Kushal Malla, OH! Just evades the fielder from cover who was sprinting back as they come back for a couple. Malla backed away and looking to finish things off but he's lofted only just over the covers.

Seems like that the fans will have to wait for a little longer to see their side get over the line! Nepal seem to be in no hurry at the moment and they're happy to take this game down to the wire.
