A really strange game that goes PXI's way and they take home all four points too. They put up a brilliant score on the board which was always going to be a difficult chase for PZ who just don't seem to have the quality for such big chases.
But in the second innings, PZ didn't even lose one wicket till the last ball. Their openers started sluggishly in the powerplay and throughout the first half of the innings, found it difficult to get boundaries away and find gaps. Seeing this, they decided to retire out Javeed.
However, his replacement Shahzad didn't do tell either and a few overs later, just before the start of the 10th, skipper Amjad also retired out. Hossain picked up the third batter Rijaullah's wicket on the last ball to end the 10-over-long pain of the batting team not even being able to try enough to get out.
