That's all we've got for this game as my partner, Abhishek and I, Sudheer are signing off at the moment but do stay tuned to Sportskeeda for more matches besides the next PSL game coming up in just an hour. Check out our stories and fantasy updates before the next game. Cheers and have fun!
Wahab Riaz (Peshawar Zalmi Captain): Credit to the batters the way they started with the bat. We needed to captilize the powerplay and we knew we wanted to do well with the bat this time. We were looking to play the situation and we did what was demanded off the game.
Babar Azam (Karachi Kings Captain): We gave away too many runs and dropped too many catches. Target of 190 needs a good start and we failed to get that right and things didn't go as planned. We knew we had to target bowlers but they bowled well and congrats to them.
Mohammad Haris (Player of the match): Thanks to team management for the support shown by them. Given we were struggling in the powerplay, we wanted to utilize the powerplay and get thtings right this time. We look to go hard and glad we did well today and happy with the result.
That's the end of the game and Peshawar Zalmi won the match by 55 runs. This is a convincing win for them and strengthens their push at the top 4 spots. No one from Karachi Kings got going apart from Babar Azam and that didn't help them one bit. They failed to set the tone of the innings inside the powerplay and had to play the catchup game which they failed at. Couple from the top order got starts but failed to get going in support to Babar and hence you see the result of losing the game by 55 runs. Batters who followed as well couldn't get things under control and it was only a matter of time in the end for them to lose it by a huge margin.
Peshawar Zalmi, on the other hand, will be pretty happy with this win. They had near to perfect game today with both bat and ball. Salman Irshad and Wahab Riaz got two wickets each while Mohammad Umar and Liam Livingstone got one each in the innings. Others too have done well and restricted the run flow in the middle overs.
This victory gives them the 3rd win in 7 games and with that, Peshawar Zalmi are equal on points with Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators. We still have a fair way to go in the tournament and few games remaining, we are in for a mid table fight coming up over the next few days.

19.6 Wahab Riaz to Chris Jordan, full and outside off, Jordan flicks that one to extra cover region for a single. Peshawar Zalmi wins the game by 55 runs.
19.5 Wahab Riaz to Sahibzada Farhan, a low full toss but Farhan can only work that one to long on for a single.
19.4 Wahab Riaz to Sahibzada Farhan, full and outside off, Farhan toe ends it to the cover fielder for no runs.
Chris Jordan, RHB, comes to the crease.
19.3 Wahab Riaz to Aamer Yamin, ANOTHER ONE GOES DOWN! RIAZ ON A HAT-TRICK! Aamer expected the ball to come much quicker but spoons his shot straight to Liam Livingstone at wide of mid off. Not great timing on that shot.
Aamer Yamin c Liam Livingstone b Wahab Riaz 6 (5b, 0x4, 0x6)
Sahibzada Farhan is the next man to come in
19.2 Wahab Riaz to Ian Cockbain, A SIMPLE CATCH! COCKBAIN HAS TO DEPART! NO CELEBRATION FROM RIAZ THOUGH! A back of the length delivery as Riaz rolls his fingers through the seam, pitching good length and just around off, Cockbain tries to clear the extra cover fielder but ends up handing a simple catch. Ian Cockbain c Amad Butt b Wahab Riaz 14 (13b, 0x4, 1x6)
19.1 Wahab Riaz to Ian Cockbain, a slow full toss angling outside off, Cockbain gets completely beaten by it as he looks bamboozled failing to get his bat to it.
Wahab Riaz to bowl the final over of the game.
Final over coming up and it would just be a formality unless we see something that has never happened in the history of the game. 58 needed from 6 balls.

18.6 Amad Butt to Aamer Yamin, full and on the off stump line, Yamin whacks that one to the extra cover region for a brace.
18.5 Amad Butt to Ian Cockbain, slow, full, and around off, Cockbain works that one to cow corner region for just a single.
18.4 Amad Butt to Ian Cockbain, nails the yorker around off, Cockbain gets his bat in time to hand the ball respectfully to the bowler.
It has been a disappointing campaign so far for the Kings and their batting has been the one that let them down barring Babar Azam. It is just a matter of time before we see Peshawar Zalmi smiling at the end of the game.
