Thank you so much for joining us for yet another exciting contest, This is Dwijesh Reddy and myself (Pranav Danani) who will be taking your leave. Don't go anywhere as we have some cricketing action covered for you on Sportskeeda and this is surely a big one as the India U-19 side battle it out against the mighty Australian U-19 side for getting a spot for the fourth consecutive time in the Under 19 World Cup final! Stay tuned.
The Qalandars have played some amazing cricket today as they win this match and the batters have absolutely no reply to the bowling attack in this innings. The match started with a Shaheen Shah special as he gets a wicket off the third ball of the innings with an absolute peach and from there on, it was no looking back for the Qalandars as they managed to get an amazing start which set a foundation for the win.
Rashid Khan, had a bad day for a change as he was demolished by the batters, who gave Zalmi the start they needed after the early dismissal and it looked like the batters were going to get the partnership which could be a match winnings one as Akmal had made 41 runs, but was Zaman Khan, who absolutely demolished the batting attack as he managed to get 2 wickets in 2 deliveries and the both the batters were back in the dugout! With that, Haider Ali and Rutherford took the match forward as they managed to get some good runs and it was the bad fielding from the Qalandars that got the batters close to winning the match as well.
The bowlers made a solid comeback towards the end, as they managed to get wickets and slow things down with Riese, almost getting a hattrick in the match which concluded the match as Qalandars seal the victory.
Qalandars won by 29 runs
Shaheen Shah: Credit to Zaman, youngster but he proved himself and trusted his confidence. It's good to see and happy that so many young players are doing well for Pakistan. We have trust in Rashid Khan and the plans he has, hopefully he will deliver in the next games. Fakhar is a match-winner and he's done well whenever given the chance here or for Pakistan. Haris is a fighter and good to see his performances, hopefully he does the same in the future as well.
Wahab Riaz: We let them get away at the end. Chasing 200 we needed a good start but we lost Zazai early and then Kamran bhai and Talat in one over which set us back. Credit to the Lahore bowlers. It's good to see Haider scoring runs and we will try and put in a good performance in the upcoming matches.
Zaman Khan: I thank Allah for this. I feel very happy at the moment. I practice a lot of different deliveries, which help me a lot. Shaheen and Rauf are Pakistan superstars and have been helping me out well in this tournament
Zaman Khan is the player of the match for his spell of 3/32!
David Wiese: The hattrick eludes me. I'm running out of years but hopefully, we'll get it. The fielding aspect didn't go to plan but the bowlers did well to get the win. The confidence level that Zaman Khan shows is amazing takes the new ball and can bowl in the death. There's a good bonding among the team. There's a family vibe within the Qalandars, they have stuck with a couple of guys for quite some time. It is tough out there to defend a target but adds another dimension to the PSL

David Wiese to Usman Qadir, SIX! A full ball bowled on middle and leg, Qadir heaves it over long-on for a six but it will not matter as Lahore Qalandars beat Peshawar Zalmi by 29 runs!

David Wiese to Salman Irshad, HATTRICKFORWIESE! A full ball bowled into middle and off, Irshad hangs his bat in defence but is struck flush on the front foot. Looked pretty adjacent as the umpire raises the dreaded finger. Irshad reviews but is it sliding down the leg-side? IT IS! It does slide down the leg-side, stealing Wiese of a hattrick! Beauty of technology, aye?
Salman Irshad, RHB, is the new batter in.
The bowler is on a hattrick as he gets two in two!

David Wiese to Arish Ali Khan, BOWLED! This sums up Arish Ali Khan's day on the field! A very full ball bowled on middle and off, Arish has a big swing and misses but Wiese doesn't. The ball goes onto disrupt the stumps and spell an end to a woeful day in the office for Arish Arish Ali Khan b Wiese 0 (1b 0x4 0x6)
Arish Ali Kha, RHB, is the new batter in.

David Wiese to Wahab Riaz, WICKET! Shaheen seems to have done well there! It was a full ball bowled outside off, Riaz gets down low and swats it towards Shaheen, who takes the catch initially but with momentum taking him over the boundary line, he goes over the boundary line after he pops the ball up in the air and takes a one-hander while coming back into the ground. Outstanding stuff from Shaheen!

Shaheen Afridi to Wahab Riaz, FOUR! But Afridi reviews! Looks like the ball has hit the stumps and gone on to the boundary. It was a full-toss bowled on middle and off, Riaz is beaten all ends up and infact, it kisses the off-stump but the bails don't move an inch! Bizzare!
Usman Qadir, LHB, is the new batter in.

Shaheen Afridi to Haider Ali, RUN-OUT! Haider Ali's luck runs out!A full ball bowled across the batter, who plays it to Zaman at covers, who nails the direct hit at the non-striker's end. End of a decent knock from Haider, who falls a run short of his fifty Haider Ali run out (Fakhar Zaman) 49 (34b 3x4 3x6)
