Commentary

Pioltello United coming back after their opening loss and this was a much-needed win for them to keep their hopes alive in the tournament. They struggled with the bat at one stage but managed to give themselves enough on the board to play with in the end. Eventually it proved to be way too much though as they complete a comfortable win here.

They started off in brilliant fashion with the ball as Khurram Shahzad ran through that top order to tear the back of Super XI's batting unit. They could never really recover from there and failed to get the innings going at any point in the chase. Certainly a below par effort from them with the bat and they need to pick themselves up as quickly as possible going into the next match.

As for United, they will now have to wait for the result of the next game. Should Super XI go on to win, it will all come down to the net run-rate and they will hope for Bogliasco to walk away with a win there. Super XI need to win and win big as well, which puts them under tremendous pressure if they want to go forward in this tournament!

That is that then! A fine performance from United with the ball as they defend their total quite comfortably in the end. Super XI failing to even get to a run-a-ball and they will have a lot of work to do going into their next match. Pioltello United win by 26 runs!
