The target of 113 runs was certainly not going to be an easy task on this track which was offering some help for the slower bowlers. The start against the new ball was going to be the key. The loss of skipper Miles Bascombe in the first over certainly set them on the back foot.

Romel Currency combined with Shiv Chanderpaul to build an excellent partnership and brought the side back on track. Chanderpaul maneuvered the field with excellent skill, showcasing the experience he has, and top-scored for the side. Currency couldn't accelerate enough though, and the required rate kept climbing.

Once Chanderpaul was dismissed, the floodgates opened and wickets fell quickly. And they ended up well short of the target.

Skipper Jomel Warrican was the pick of the bowlers for Best of the Rest side. He came in at the latter part of the chase and tied the batters up, choking them for runs. Kirtney Franklyn also bowled an excellent spell, starting off the innings and closing out the penultimate over.
