That brings us to a close on what has been an absolute blockbuster of a game tonight! Tomorrow, the action shifts to Paarl as the Paarl Royals will take on Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the next encounter of SA20. It was an absolute pleasure bringing this game to you for the trio of Sourabh Agrawal, Sooryanarayanan Sesha and Rudransh. We will see you super soon! Good night!
Kyle Verreynne (Player Of The Match) - Personally, it has been a very special night! Have sort of struggled in my T20 game, got my one-day game sorted and a knock like this will give me a lot of confidence. Have been working on taking my time in the middle, a couple of innings have turned out to be good this tournament. This is the best white-ball wicket I've ever played on and it was really good for the batters even though the bowlers struggled. It was very important that we didn't give them the bonus point, we have a very important game coming up and we will certainly take a huge amount of confidence with a batting performance like this today.
Kieron Pollard (MI Cape Town captain): Just winning. We won the toss and batted well. Not happy with the method of the win because we have been on the wrong side of the table. But we'll take the win. It is not and we are playing a long tournament and we know how to go about it. It's about execution and we have a lot of international bowlers in our lineup. We need to think these things as well. Not much will happen, we'll take the flight, come back to Cape Town and see how it goes.
Wayne Parnell (Pretoria Capitals captain): Obviously, at half time, we felt they had too many runs. It was one of the wickets where it later felt like it was chaseable. But at 44/6, it's very difficult. Credit to Kyle and we were able to take the bonus point off them. We could have restricted them at a bit less. A couple of batters who were in good form couldn't do well. Trying to let overs go for 20-21 instead of 30 makes a big difference. We ended up making it a really nice game. The bonus point was always in the back of our mind. Credit to Kyle, he has looked really great and hopefully more to come for him. The crowd has been amazing through all days of the week and long may that continue.
MI Cape Town won by 34 runs Ryan Rickelton 90(45) | Nuwan Thushara 3/37(4) Kyle Verreynne 116*(52) | Wayne Parnell 3/57(4)
What an entertainer we had tonight! If only Kyle Verreynne had got some good company, you never know what could have happened. Nevertheless, MI Cape Town have registered a much-needed victory despite a heroic effort from Kyle Verreynne who registered the highest individual score in the history of SA20.
It seems like a long time ago when MI Cape Town scored a truckload of runs to end up on 248. MICT got to this monster of a score on the back of a Brilliant 90 by Ryan Rickelton, a breath-taking 66* from Dewald Brewis and valuable contributions from the likes of Pollard and Curran. The Capitals' bowlers were smacked to all parts of Centurion and the batting was indeed a spectacle.
Talking about spectacles, the MICT pacers put up a spectacle of themselves when they came on to defend the score and had the Capitals on the floor, reeling at 6-42 with some fast swinging yorkers of the top drawer from Thushara and Rabada. The spectacles were not over for the night as Kyle Verreynne took center stage, thereafter, and scored a scintillating 116* and in the process denied a bonus point to MICT which they were looking to get very easily at a time.

19.6 Sam Curran to Kyle Verreynne, FOUR MORE TO END THE INNINGS! High full toss on the middle, Verreynne slaps it away to deep fine leg. There's no-ball check but it's turned down. What a knock from Verreynne. How did he bring his team this close in such a game? Unbelievable. MI Cape Town win by 34 runs.
19.5 Sam Curran to Kyle Verreynne, FOUR THIS TIME! So much authority in that. Comes down the ground and lifts it over Curran's head!
19.4 Sam Curran to Kyle Verreynne, SIXXXXX! He wants to go with a bang. Full and wide outside the off-stumps, swings his hand through while keeping the face of his bat in the air and it flies over point!
19.3 Sam Curran to Adil Rashid, full and wide, driven uppishly past covers to deep point for one! That brings up PC's 200 and takes away MI Cape Town's bonus point!
The MI Cape Town will not get a bonus point from this game now.
19.2 Sam Curran to Kyle Verreynne, full and on the leg-stump, clipped to deep square leg for one
19.1 Sam Curran to Kyle Verreynne, SIX! HE GETS TO HIS HUNDRED IN STYLE! Take a bow and removes his helmet. What a valiant knock this has been! From 50-odd for six wickets to a 48-ball century. Short slow ball outside the off-stump, flat-bats it down the ground! Clean as a whistle, like the rest of this innings!
The match has taken a different sort of a turn in the space of a couple of overs! The Capitals will need to score 7 or more in the last over to not allow the MICT to walk away with a bonus point. Also, Verreynne is on 95. If that wasn't enough, there is a penalty and an extra fielder needs to be inside the ring for slow-over rate.

18.6 Kagiso Rabada to Kyle Verreynne, full and wide, knocked down straight to mid-on to retain the strike
18.5 Kagiso Rabada to Kyle Verreynne, FOUR MOREEEEE! He's putting on a low show here. Rabada, after nailing yorkers all day, is struggling. Another low full toss outside the off-stump, he drills it between the gap!
18.4 Kagiso Rabada to Kyle Verreynne, FOUR! Low full toss outside the off-stump, shapes in and slaps a stunning extra cover drive!
18.3 Kagiso Rabada to Adil Rashid, short and slow, swivels it to deep fine leg
The bonus point business has all of a sudden become serious with some strange things happening in the last few moments. 17 needed off 10 to deny the bonus point.
