Commentary

That's that from this contest, Hira Sabadell registering their two points with a win to their name. Punjab Warriors have a lot to look back as far as the bowling and the fielding is concerned. There is a re-match coming up in about 20 mins and Warriors better be stacked up to take the revenge of this. Hira Sabadell beat Punjab Warriors by 4 runs! Mohsin Ali 35(24) | Adnan Abbas 2-0-13-2!

What a thriller of an opener we just witnessed, Hira Sabadell were never in the game in the first half. Punjab Warriors will be kicking themselves to concede those 24 extra runs and their bowling took a blow as well in the end. Sabadell managed to put up a decent total on the board and their bowlers responded in the end.

Punjab Warriors with the didn't get off to a flier, at the end of the powerplay they were placed pretty well losing two wickets. Mohsin Ali and Kuldeep Singh got to together to stitch some sort of a partnership but they were going very slow until Shanawar Shahzad came back to bowl his second over where Mohsin Ali clobbered him for 21 runs off that over and brought Warriors right back into the contest.

Sabadell needed something magical from there on because the Warriors needed 20 runs off 18 balls as Mohsin Ali turned the game upside down. Sufian Ansar bowled a brilliant penultimate over concedes just 7 runs and that meant Warriors needed 11 to get off the final over.

Adnan Abbas bowled one of the greatest final over of the game, he bowled a ripper of a yorker to remove Mohsin Ali and then later on to remove Rehman to win the game in the final over. Sabadell win the game by 4 runs in the end and that's some momentum to get into the second game which is going to start in just 25 mins.

Sabadell out of nowhere came in and notched up the victory here, that was a pretty ordinary batting from them earlier but jeez, the bowling has been on the dot and they win this opener to pick up two points.
