Commentary

That brings us to the end of our coverage for this encounter. Till the next time, this is me( Arya Sekhar Chakraborty) and my fellow commentator Pradeep.

Naushad Shaikh (Raigad Royals captain): We felt that the way we started, they batted really well. I said that we need wickets during the time out and the way the bowlers came back was commendable. Whatever I ask him Vicky Ostwal delivers. I have been playing with Sunil for the last ten years. He is a wicket taker. I thought 170 was a par score.

Sunil Yadav is the Player of the Match! Here's what he has to say: I had the confidence, the preparation was good and it has paid off. In six overs, they were 75 for no loss, I wanted to take wickets along with dot balls. Couple of months preparation has been going. There was help on this track, but had to land on the right areas and the wickets came in.

Murtaza Trunkwala (Chhatrapati Sambhaji Kings captain): I just prepared myself mentally, haven't been playing my shots well and backed my instincts and it paid off well today. We had to capitalize on the powerplay, once the spinners came on, I thought it would be difficult and we had a plan to make the most of the powerplay. Credit goes to their bowlers, they stuck to their plan and bowled well. Full marks to our bowlers, 146 on that wicket and to take it to the last over, it's a sign of that we believe in ourselves. One wicket here and there, could've changed the result of the game.

It turned out to be a well deserved victory for the Raigad Royals as they chased down the below par target of 147 in the final over with three wickets in hand but not before there was a lot of drama in the final over. In the end the score of 147 proved a bit too less but the Royals won't mind in registering a good victory.

The spinners got them back in the game and in the end the batting unit just did enough to take their side over the finish line. Siddhesh Veer and Naushad Shaikh came out with a positive frame of mind. Siddhesh struck a boundary of the very first ball and continued the good work.

Pranay Singh provide the maiden breakthrough when he breached the defense of Naushad with an unplayable inswinging yorker. Vishant More who came into this match on the back of couple of good knocks departed early but the partnership between Siddhesh and Mehul Patel again brought them back in the game.

They looked pretty confident in the middle overs but played quite a few dot balls which meant that the required rate climbed up a bit. The wicket of Mehul Patel opened the floodgates for the CSK bowlers. They chipped away with a few crucial wickets but Siddhesh Veer wasn't the one to be stopped.

However he couldn't quite get his side over the finish line as he lost his patience and gave the wicket away. Rushabh Rathod scored a quickfire 20 runs which proved to be enough in the end. Pranay Singh were the pick of the bowlers with three wickets to his name.

19.4 Swaraj Chavan to Ravi Jangid, THAT'S IT! Raigad Royals just about prevail in this game, but a win is a win and they'll happily take the two points. Length delivery on the stumps. Jangid went for the slog sweep and top edged it in the air around backward square-leg, fielder from short fine-leg runs around but can't get to it in time and they seal the game with the single.

19.3 Swaraj Chavan to Tanay Sanghvi, OH MY! That was in the air but just evades the short extra-cover to his left, falls safely and that scores are level now. Floated a length delivery on the off-stump, Sanghvi lunges to play across, but gets a big leading edge and balloons up to land safely.

This is extremely poor from the Raigad Royals. Rushabh Rathod trying to be innovative and goes for the reverse sweep when he should have knocked it around for a single.

19.2 Swaraj Chavan to Rushabh Rathod, OUT! UP IN THE AIR AND TAKEN! Chavan single handedly is pulling his team back into the game. Floated a length delivery on the off-stump, Rathod tries something out of the ordinary, went for the reverse sweep and top edged it straight up as the short third-man runs across and pouches it safely.

19.2 Swaraj Chavan to Ravi Jangid, WIDE! Oh dear, poor delivery to bowl at this stage. Floated a full delivery, way down the leg-side, keeper can't collect and they get two with the bye.

Ravi Jangid, LHB is the new man in.

Ostwal was trying to finish off the match with a big blow but was deceived on the flight and ends up offering a straightforward catch to the long off fielder.

19.1 Swaraj Chavan to Vicky Ostwal, OUT! CHIPPED STRAIGHT TO LONG-OFF AND GONE! This is still not over folks, Kings hanging in by a thread here. Short and spun away sharply. Ostwal went back and checks his shot, went straight down the throat of Thenge who makes no mistake.

The Raigad Royals just need four more runs to register a well earned victory. Pranay Singh bowled brilliantly and picked a wicket in his final over to keep it to the last over.

18.5 Pranay Singh to Vedant Patil, OUT! KNOCKED HIM OVER! Pranay hits back, but is it too little too late for Kings? Full on the off-stump, Patil swings and misses, rattles the off-stump.
