So, that will be all from this match in Malta. The final game of the day is coming up in just a bit over half-an-hour. So, do catch up on that by switching tabs and joining us. For now, this is the pair of Pragadeesh and Bidipto taking your leave. Keep following Sportskeeda.
It was a pretty interesting innings as the run chase went very much down to the wire, but, a few stutters here and there and those two top overs from Jahidul Islam ensured that Bugibba Blasters would end up on the winning side!
Jahidul bowled two overs for only 5 runs! Danish Siddique went at under 9.00 RPO and picked up a couple of wickets. Anurag Tripathi's final over took care of the final surge that could have been, as he picked up 2 wickets, giving away only 3 runs when he had 23 runs to defend.
Fielding too was a lot better in the second innings than in the first. But then, Red Stars made a really nice effort of it in their very first game.
They need one of their batters to get to fifty and a few more contributions of more than 30. But, they are a team which should only get better as the tournament progresses.

9.1 Anurag Tripathi to Jimmy James, pitched up angling in, James swings across and gets hit on the pads
Anurag Tripathi, right-arm medium, is into the attack.
Requiring 24 runs off the last over, there is no other option remaining for the Stars than to go for their shots. But, they need to be sensible here and play percentage strokes in the gaps.

8.1 Danish Siddique to Jimmy James, pitched up on a fuller length outside off, driven down to deep cover for a single
Danish Siddique [1.0-0-13-1] comes back into the attack.
If the Stars have to win this, they need to get at least two boundaries in this over and make it go for at least 10 runs. In that way, they will stay in the hunt.
