A target of 142 runs was always going to be an uphill task and so it turned out to be so. Roma Capannelle got a perfect start to the chase, scoring 14 runs in the first over but succumbed under pressure as time passed.

Capannelle were going at par during the powerplay despite losing periodic wickets. It was Gagandeep Singh’s spell that broke the spine of opponents. He ended up with a four-for, dismantling the opposition on his will. Amir Hamza was the lone warrior who too got dismissed by Rajwinder Singh for 40 off 13 balls.

Wickets fell like nine pins in the chase as the bowlers of Royal Roma did a spectacular job. Rajwinder Singh came in the late end of the innings and extracted a few important wickets to snatch the hopes of Capannelle victory.

Earlier, Royal Roma managed to pile up 141 runs on the back of Gagandeep Singh's 49 and Khawani Lakanwal's 44. They built a 69 runs stand together for the second wicket and smoked the bowlers around the venue. It was followed by some solid hitting from Mubashar Hassan that propelled the scoreboard to 141 in 10 overs.
